About the Area
My house is located in North Belfast on a main bus route to the city centre. This is a fairly quiet suburb. I am about twelve miles from Belfast International airport and six miles from Belfast City airport. Europa bus station is about three miles away and accessible by bus or taxi .Bus stops outside the front door.
The post office supermarket and various other shops five minutes walk from the house. There are also local churches in the area so it is a convenient location all round. There are also a few parks nearby with lakes and plenty of greenery.
This is a good place is you want to have a relaxing break in a welcoming home.

House Rules
I would appreciate payment owed, on arrival, please, then everyone can relax.
I ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 11pm out of respect for the neighbours as our houses are terraced and noise travels.
I would also be glad to have an idea of what time guests will come in at night for security reasons. Breakfast finishes at 9.45am and check out is at 10.00am unless prior arrangement is agreed beforehand.
Food and drink may NOT be consumed in the bed rooms please. Bed linen has been damaged by this in the past, so I have to introduce this rule. The dining room is available for anyone who wishes to drink in house.
Please enjoy the place and treat it as you would your own home.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.

Rosemary was delightful and made us very welcome!
The bedroom was comfortable but a bit on the small side. The shower was good but the bathroom was quite cold. Turning the heat on would make a big difference.
Breakfast on the second day was excellent.Host reply

Rosemary is one of the kindest, most considerate, and hospitable homestay owners whom I have met in my life and journeys! I booked my accommodation in her lovely house just two days before my arrival in Belfast, and she was very accommodating to my requests. The house is well-maintained, cozy, and welcoming. More than the house itself, it is Rosemary’s kindness that really touches me. The moment as I stepped in her home, she immediately offered me a cup of tea and biscuits, knowing I had a long and tiring day (just flew from England). She is a good conversationalist that keeps you engaged in her curiosity as well. You would really know she is a kind person just the way she talks to you and asks you if you need anything.
As I joined a tour the next day, she prepared my breakfast even when she had to wake up early. I felt I was at home! But what really touched me the most was the heartful sandwich she prepared for my lunch so I wouldn’t pay during the tour. She didn’t have to do it, but out of her genuine heart, she was able to let me feel that kindness is everywhere and still in every person you meet.
Cheers to Rosemary and to her beautiful heart! I hope all on a budget travellers who prefer to stay in homestays would experience the same treatment as mine!
Thanks a lot!!!

Our stay with Rosemary made the trip so much more worth while. We enjoyed her stories and company immensely. Her advice was spot on every time and her patience and understanding with some issues we challenged her with was second to none. She is a caring, loving person that anyone from around the world would be blessed to stay with.

Staying at Rosemary's place has been the highlight in Belfast. She made us feel like home. She is so charming and generous, full of energy. Thank you for being so helpful and taking good care of us. We enjoyed the enriching conversations about Belfast and about life. Also, the house is well located, a bus stop running to the city center just opposite the front door. Now we have a reason to come back!!!

Rosemarie is simply wonderful. She is highly knowledgeable about Belfast and its environs, caters to your every need and an immense joy. The room was wonderful and the breakfast delicious daily. Her place is about a 10-15 minute bus ride from city centre and is directly in front of the bus stop.
