Very nice host and appartment, although the room is on the small side, there is more then enough of appartment next to it to enjoy. Connection to the city centre is good as well. Supermarket around the corner as well as nice bars around the other corner. My 3 months there we're very pleasent and Ruben is very good company! Great place for a longer stay in Madrid!

March 2018
The host is really kind and friendly. He would like to help you with everything. The room is also confortable and cheap. It is a good place to stay!

House fully equipped, not that big but enough, especially if you are planning to spend the majority of your time outside.
Ruben is a fastastic host, always kind and available if you need information.August 2017
Ruben was an awesome host! Check in was super easy and he contacted me one month before my arrival just to make sure I had the address and which date I would be arriving. Ruben was available if I needed him but otherwise he doesn't bother you. The room looks exactly like the picture, there is a lot of storage space in the room and a lock on the door. There is an elevator/lift to use for luggage for extended stays unlike most places I've visited in Europe. The location is close to the bus stop and the metro is about an 18 minute walk away, there is a closer station #5 but was closed during my stay. The fare to and from the airport is pricey $30 euros. Be aware that there may be another person staying in the condo in addition to Ruben which can be a bit tricky 3 people sharing one bathroom. My schedule was flexible so it was not an issue for me. Also, future travelers be aware there is no AC and it was extremely hot this summer in Madrid. I purchased a fan and it was a lot more comfortable. Female travelers Ruben was respectable, I was bit nervous booking with a male but he was exceptional so no worries if this is your concern as well.
This would be a comfortable and safe place for you to stay. Overall, Ruben was great and I would stay with him again if I return to Madrid.May 2016
Ruben is a very pleasant host. I would stay with him again, and also recommend his hospitality to Homestay guests. The room is very comfortable, and the property is in a nice area within a 15-minute, pleasant walk, to Ventas Metro (line 5) / Plaza de Torros, or a 10-minute walk from El Elipa Metro (line 2), so is easy for travel into Madrid Central. There are also cafes, and shops abound nearby.
