I'm a photographer . I have a beautiful house located in the center of Madrid in Malasaña, one of the most alternative neighborhoods in the capital. Full of life. One step away from everything and very well connected.
We have a large room with double bed and beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Plaza de San Ildefonso and another room with double high bed and single bed with balcony. If you are sensitive to noise do not look for a central place but if you want to live the city fully and avoid displacement, this is your home. We invite you to breakfast. If you need airport transfers we can fix it. Tickets for football, bullfighting, flamenco or other shows .... we can get them. During your stay you can count on my help with any question you have about Madrid. Even though I work from Monday to Friday I am available a large part of time to receive and serve the guests as they deserve! and indicate the best areas of Madrid to visit, eat, go out, how to get around Madrid and make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Upon arrival, keys and a map of the city are delivered. Clean sheets and put on the bed and sets of towels. In the bathroom there is everything you need (gel, shampoo, etc).
There is a supplement of 15 e / n for the third person

Pick up service at the airport - 30 euros
Private parking - 20 euros / night

About the Area
Our house is located in the heart of the city very accessible from anywhere. Very good communication. You have everything within reach, no need to take any transport. It is a lively district, you will find thousands of places to enjoy just have to get carried away by your curiosity.

House Rules
I would like you to feel at home, but I expect you to respect the other guests.
Old people, children and workers live in the building and for them we ask for your maximum consideration. No parties or noise are allowed from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. or at any time of the day in the common areas of the building (portal and stairs). When you are on the stairs we strongly ask you to speak in a normal tone.
Please leave the common areas as clean as you found them.
Visits by people who are not registered in the reserve are not allowed.
Treat things as if they were your own.
If something breaks during your stay, don't wait for us to find out after you've left. We understand that accidents can happen, but we don't like those kinds of surprises. Be honest. Any complaint from the neighbors will mean that you will be asked to leave the apartment immediately, in which case you will lose any right to a refund.
Only people who have booked can enter the flat.
Turn off the lights while you are not in the rooms.
Be careful not to disturb the neighbors with your suitcases. Avoid shooting them at night.
Do not invite other people to the apartment.
You can use the microwave and water heater to prepare simple meals.
Check in after 10:00 p.m. will have an extra charge of 20 euros that must be paid upon arrival. Check in after 24.00 will have an extra charge of 30 euros.
Once confirmed we will contact you to specify the details.
You must leave the keys in the room.
Extra cost of 15 euros for the 3rd guest.

Charo was very kind and helpful to me, an older traveller. The building is well located, close to the metro station and walking distance to the centre. The room was comfortable and the facilities spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

Had a great time at Charo's apartment. The room is comfortable and spacious and is located in the heart of a vibrant neighbourhood. The kitchen is well supplied too if you don't feel like going to one of the many cafes around. Charo was very forthcoming with help, advice and recommendations for the city. Look forward to returning some day.

Charo was really welcoming and the room was beautiful! It's a really central location in a really fun neighbourhood. A good place to stay if you like thrifting vintage items and eating delicious food.

Todo muy bien!apenas estuvimos en casa pero el poco tiempo que pasamos ni nos cruzamos con ella en casa!fué muy agradable en todo momento desde el primer dia,lo unico malo que la cama sonaba mucho!

Nous avons passé la semaine du nouvel an 2020 à Madrid et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre hébergement.
Lieu très propre, au centre de Madrid et peu bruyant. Merci à Charo pour son accueil, et sa discrétion.
Petit bémol toutefois, nous aurions aimé être informé des caméras dans le couloir et la cuisine. Mais nous le comprenons.December 2019
I am rating 5 star but we did not stay there...the room had a single bed on the bottom and double on top....not ideal for a couple. Charo was nice enough to show us another hotel close by. Place looked clean and secured building.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
