We have recently moved to the city of Barcelona, after living a time in the outskirts. We love Barcelona and it has many possibilities.
We are a family composed of my two daughters, 19 and 21 years old, students and me, a psychologist.
We have hosted students on many occasions and my daughters have participated in international exchanges.
The house in which we live has 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large living room and terrace.

About the Area
The house is located in a very central and very well connected by metro two minutes of the house and several bus lines.
10 minutes from Plaza de Catalunya Metro
Very close to the area of Gracia, 5 minutes walk, neighborhood with great charm in the narrow streets full of shops, activities like dance, theater, painting etc. It is an area frequented by students with squares and cozy bars.
The surrounding area offers access to shops and other places of interest.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

WAY TO PAY
Once the guest pays 15% to Homestay.com online, the host requests an advance payment (via bank to account IBAN ES91 2100 2458 7501 0022 4975, IC: CAIXESBBXXX) of 25% of the remaining balance of the reservation and the day of arrival the remaining balance, or monthly if they are more than 2 months.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For the cancellation of the reservation the guest needs to contact us at least "30 days before" the day of arrival for the refund of their money.
To smoke you can use the terrace.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

It was a great pleasure to live with Carmen and her daughters. They were all very sweet, friendly, and helpful. Their house is in a great location, in a less touristy area but next to many train stops, only 10 minutes from Plaza Catalunya. They made my stay in Barcelona excellent! I would definitely stay with them again!
Fue un gran placer vivir con Carmen y sus hijas. Todas fueron muy dulces, amables y serviciales. Su casa se encuentra en una excelente ubicación, en una zona menos turística pero al lado de muchas paradas de tren, a solo 10 minutos de Plaza Catalunya. ¡Hicieron que mi estancia en Barcelona fuera excelente! ¡Definitivamente me quedaría con ellas otra vez!

Carmen was a lovely host and made me feel very welcome. The room is nice and even bigger than it looks like on the pictures. The flat was clean and I always felt comfortable during the whole stay. I highly recommend this homestay.

Carmen and her family were absolutely wonderful. I had a great stay with them, and I highly recommend this homestay. The family provided a private bedroom and bathroom as well as laundry and kitchen space for keeping food. Everyone in the family was so nice. I will miss them!

Voll integriert in meine Gastfamilie, habe ich dort wundervolle Tage verleben dürfen. Wer abseits der gängigen Hotels, Pensionen oder Hostels, seinen Aufenthalt verbringen möchte, dem sei diese Unterkunft wärmstens zu empfehlen!
Schon die Familie alleine, ist eine Rückkehr wert.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
