Hello there. I'm Gregory, half basque/english born in Madrid. Been living in BCN for 8 years. I program during the day and work at a bar at night on the weekends. I like to get away and explore thru good hikes, practice martials arts, and try new recipes. I recently became a dad of a lovely portuguese podenco named Gaga because.., life. We know each other from long time. She is super chilled and well trained.
My house is by Santa María del Mar. The most iconic estructure in the neighbourhood ( El Born) and probably in BCN. It's a very beautiful area. Close to the beach, little shops, Ciudadela park, train station, metro.
It's the most beautiful neightbouhood in BCN. Full of medieval history, buildings, little artisan shops and special vibes.
My building used to be a convent and in the first floor there's a cool little museum about the 1700s and catalan history. I mean.., you couldn't be better placed.
The only thing that ain't that great is, that as almost all buildings in this area, there are stairs and no elevators. And this.., is the 4th floor.
It's a very big room. 15m². Lots of light and very silent. I can set It up as you like. With/out desk, shelfs, etc. I provide towels, bed sheets ++
I also let you an individual room for storage; there's is a fridge, microwave, shelfs, so you can store your stuff and enjoy the double room to It's full space.
There's only one bathroom in the flat so we'd have to share. It's located closer to your room and has a door in the corridor to make It more personal.
ALSO I don´t have /don't what to have a locker, key for your room (neither mine has one) Here we trust and chill.

Nous remercions Gregory pour son accueil chaleureux ! Il a été de très bons conseils concernant les transports, lieux à visiter, où manger... Tous ses conseils nous ont été très utiles. Son appartement est idéalement situé, pour visiter de nombreux lieux emblématiques de la ville, dont beaucoup sont accessibles à pied et en transport. Grâce à tout cela, nous avons passé 4 supers jours à Barcelone ! Encore merci Gregory pour ta gentillesse, ton hospitalité et la petite attention à notre départ (de plus, sa petite chienne Gaga est très gentille) ! J&E

I had a very good experience at Gregory's house, I had loads of space and everything I needed and the place was charming since it's in a classic old Barcelona's building. Gregory was available in case I needed anything and his dog is very sweet. The thing I appreciated the most was definitely the location, right next to one of my favourite places, Santa Maria del Mar and in a neighbourhood with loads of interesting shops and museums and little beautiful streets and close to the beach, another plus.

Greg's house is cozy and comfortable and has all the amenities one could need. The best part is the location. He was always willing to answer any questions we had, and gave us lots of useful tips for getting around the city. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Greg's place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the city.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
