My house is on the main gilmerton road ,the bus stop is directly opposite the house and takes you into town in 15 mins ,we have 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms ,kitchen ,sitting room ,There is a backdoor with a section for smoking ,the house is fully equipped and modern .

About the Area
We are situated in the south of Edinburgh ,we have a great location with lidl and Iceland 2mins away and a bus stop directly over from the house there are a choice of 3 buses that take into the town centre in 15 mins ,this is a large detached bungalow with a drive way for 4cars .the house is modern and comfortable ,

She gave us a warm welcome and helped us to understand how the buses work. It was a pity we had to share the shower with the other guests because ours was broken.

Although I did not have the chance to meet Moira personally, the contact beforehand was incredible due to her fast reactions. A comfortable house with a great connection to the centre and main university campuses!!

It has been an absolutely lovely stay! Bus stop at the doorstep so it was easy to get to the city centre. Also close to The Royal and supermarket + takeaway nearby. Was staying in the single room - really lovely, clean and had a telly in it. Well equipped kitchen. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone

This is the place to stay.
Moira is kind, helpfull and welcoming.
I have travelled a lot throughout my life, but no place has feelt so much like home as staying at Moira's.
Before 2017 I had never been to Scotland, and now I keep coming back. Moira's is one of the reasons why. -This place works as a great base for exploring the city/country. It is a little out of the center of the city, so it is quiet, the direct bus service stops right outside the door, supermarked is 10 steps away, and the house has everything you might need; the room is clean, soft duvet, mirror, internet and tv in the room. There is a full and spacious kitchen and livingroom.
And if you have a problem, Moira and her family will help you out anyway they can -and always with a big smile.
I have just made it back from my last visit, I am already planning my next.September 2017

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
