During my trip of 3 months in Japan, the 18 nights staying with Chika in her home were definitely the highlight :) The location was fantastic, the food and the people were warm and welcoming, and Chika as the host embodied this through and through. Thank you for having me!
P.S. If you stay here, I'd recommend renting a car! The best places to visit in the area are not walkable/bike-able, so do yourself a favor!

The house of Catherina is a wounderful place, very wellcoming and friendly. You feel like you are at your home. The house in a lovely and quite aerea close to the city center by bos and bus stop in very near. Shopping center is at walking distance. I really reccommend this lovely house.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay with Yuriko-san and Jin-san. They were excellent hosts, they made us feel welcome and cared for. We loved chatting with them via Google translate each day over a delicious breakfast.
The room was clean, spacious and had warm character like a home instead of staying at a hotel with no personality.
By the end of our short stay we felt sad leaving, like we were saying good bye to our family!
The area is lovely part of Tokyo, not touristy. It feels like part of a Ghibli movie. Authentic.

My girlfriend and I loved our stay in Barcelona! As a couple, it was the perfect cozy spot to relax after exploring the city. The location is amazing—close to everything, yet peaceful inside. We felt right at home and would definitely come back!

Loved staying with Sam. We got a cozy private room to ourselves but still had access to almost the whole house if we wanted/needed. Everything was well-maintained and clean, we had plenty of space, everything we could possibly need/use. We loved chilling in the backyard and grill we used to make burgers, nice big pool. Such a cool aesthetic, and her cat and dog were super chill and sweet, kept to themselves but accepted love if you wanted to give some. Our host Sam was super chill and laid back, great energy and responsive when we had any questions. Would absolutely stay here again!

About room : The flat is in incredible location, was clean and has good amenities, You can reach everywhere on foot.

About Host : Siraj is an intellectual and also very helpful and has a great personality. I felt very safe during my stay, I had no problems, he gave me very good advices. I was very pleased to meet him. if i need an accomendation again, definetly i will stay with him!

I had a great stay. Janice has a beautiful and clean home; she is also warm and hospitable and made us feel at ease. She offered some good suggestions on what we could do in the area too. Her adorable and polite house cats were a nice touch!

Tutto perfetto! La camera era molto carina, pulita e comoda con il bagno subito accanto assolutamente funzionale. L' appartamento è in una zona tranquilla, ben servita dai mezzi pubblici e da cui si raggiunge facilmente il centro città anche a piedi. Irene è una persona ed una padrona di casa splendida!!! Sempre gentile, disponibile e sorridente, attenta ad ogni possibile necessità dei suoi ospiti è stata una piacevole conoscenza! Quando tornerò a Dublino di sicuro spero di ritrovare la sua camera disponibile!

I had a magnificent time with the Sakura family. Often I ate my dinner together with the whole family - parents, the two wonderful kids and the lovely grandmother. If only my Japanese would have been better... But the mother is English teacher (mostly online classes from home) and is of cause very good in speaking English.

I often came up to join the family in their living room und we played Wii-U and a card game. There has been other guests doing the same or people that never showed up, so it is up to you. But I enjoyed the time with the family a lot.

As they are in the middle of an area for living, the next station is some way to go. That was no problem for me, but if you need a fast connection to the city-center, this might be a drawback.

Meghan was a thoughtful and caring host, sharing her quiet and cozy apartment so I had a place to relax after attending a conference and exploring Cambridge on foot.

It was my first time staying at a homestay and it turned out to be a really great experience. The host family was super friendly and welcoming. The house was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. The location was also very convenient, just a short bus ride to the city center. If you’re not in a rush, walking there is also a nice option. The neighborhood felt very safe, so even coming back late at night wasn’t a problem.

Sofia is a super friendly, clean and social host. She lives in a cute little apartment in a great area in Barcelona. As a solo traveller I totally recommend staying with Sofia. Muchas gracias!

I stayed two nights at Hidekos house. It was an amazing experience. It felt like a second home for me She was very friendly and helped me a lot and she is a great cook. My room was very cosy and I enjoyed to talk with her. She teached me some Kaligraphy and I learned a lot about life in Japan. Thank you very much for the amazing time at your place!

Great place with super convenient amenities. Definitely someone that you would feel more than safe staying in their home. Without any doubt you will feel like this place is a good choice.

Der Aufenthalt bei Christina war großartig und wir können das Homestay jederzeit empfehlen. Es ist eine ruhige und sichere Gegend. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kommt man überall problemlos hin. Eine Bushaltestelle ist keine 100 m entfernt. Es gibt jegliche Geschäfte, Restaurants und Supermarkt in fußläufiger Umgebung. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist großzügig und herzlich, wir konnten uns Frühstück und Abendessen machen und den Kühlschrank nutzen. Sogar die Nutzung der Waschmaschine ist in Absprache bei längerem Aufenthalt möglich.
Es war sauber und wir hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei Betten und ein privates Badezimmer. Danke nochmals für den schönen Aufenthalt. Wir werden gern wiederkommen.

No siempre fue fácil compartir mis pensamientos con Sheila debido a mi pobre dominio del español, pero aún así me hicieron sentir parte de su familia, mientras que sus mascotas eran adorables y se portaban bien.

I had a fantastic stay. Jo is so welcoming and kind, and was really helpful when I asked questions about the area. Her home is clean, colorful and comfortable, and the floorplan makes it easy to have privacy. The bedroom was spacious and bright, and the toilet and shower/sink are separate, making it easy to share. Her lush balcony garden is truly an oasis in the busy city, and her kitties are so sweet!! Jo and I had some really nice chats and if I ever return to London I look forward to staying there again!

Kai was such a lovely host with a beautiful home! My partner and I were blown away by the kindness and openness we were greeted with. The stay itself was wonderful, and the location was fantastic--we walked to the shore every day, it was within walking distance to most everything we planned to do, and we never felt unsafe or scared walking back. Thanks for having us, and we're hoping all the best for you and those who stay with you in the future!

Staying at Suzanne’s place was an excellent choice. The apartment is located in Laurier, one of the best neighborhoods in Montreal. It's a quiet area with supermarkets, restaurants, and pastry shops all within walking distance.

The apartment is also very close to a bus stop, which was especially convenient for me as I needed to go daily to the university at Place des Armes.

The apartment is spacious, and the room receives plenty of natural light. The roommate is very quiet, and living with just one other person made space sharing easy and comfortable.

Overall, this apartment offers an ideal balance of quality and affordability. Suzanne has been consistently kind and helpful, which I truly appreciated.
