Hello!
My mother and I live in a beautiful and quiet place 10 min walking from Praia da Rocha.
With us you'll find care, beauty, attention to detail, cleanliness and good vibes.
The third member of our family is our black cat, which is the most adorable and gentle meow I've met. He will be very shy in the first day, then he will make you a "friend request" in his special and cute way. I hope you get to experience it. So please only come if you're a pet lover and mindful of not leaving the windows too opened. We don't want our meow to fly off window!
Mom and I never refuse a good talk (specially my mom!, she loves it) and we both speak English, Italian, some French, mom speaks German, and of course, Portuguese. If you like some company in your adventures, feel free to request it to my mom. She is probable to join, specially by the end of the afternoon. If you come in search for retreat of the busy life, slowing down and enjoying nature and some time alone, then this is also a very good place for you. We respect you and we are sensible to your needs of company or solitude.

About the Area
Our house has a priviledged spot in the town. It has a very good sun exposure (it's amazing to see the sunset from the balcony pretty much all of the year!) and private parking you can use, if you're with a vehicle. It also has a bus stop almost at its doorstep that goes to all the city and Alvor. If you're into walking, like us, Portimão's city center is at the distance of 20min. There's a gym nearby, 5min walking, in case you are sportive and/or in search for some collective yoga or fitness classes.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
You can use the Laundry machine under the payment of 5€ or, if you stay a week or more, you can use it once for free.
The kitchen is free for you to use it, as long as you are considerative of these rules:
# the hoven is not available for usage as well as some kitchen ware that we'll mention at your coming.
# Keep your cooking simple and please, do not use other oil other than olive,
# Frying food is not allowed as well as not cooking after 10pm.
# We do not provide meals or food - you will have to purchase it yourself. You have hiper markets at a walking distance of 10/15min, or you can use glovo, f.e.
Here follows some other rules we expect you to abide to:
* Smoking is possible but only in the balcony;
* We are zealous of our belongings, if you're using the TV and laundry for the first time, please ask us how it works and we will be very happy to help you.
* Mom and I are clean and tidy persons and we expect you to be the same. Leave spaces as you found them, be clean and you'll have our sympathy the most.
* For hygiene reasons, please take off your shoes at the entry hall. Feel free to walk on slippers for home only or barefoot.
*Your staying is only for you, so please, don't bring anybody else or pets.
*Please be considerative of your noise after midnight and in the early morning. Leave it to a minimum.

Last but not least, if you decide to stay with us, we expect you to pay 50% of total 7 days prior to your stay by transfer (we'll give you more info further) and the 50% rest at your arrival.
In case you want to cancel, we will give your money back if you warn us until 48h prior to the date scheduled.

Daniela and her mom are really nice and welcoming. They make sure sure you are feeling well. The house has everything you need and is clean. The location is perfect, just near the beach. I would recommend for a trip in Algarve!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
