We are a warm friendly home and have been hosting international guests for over 7 years. We have 6 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, 4 toilets and 2 lounge areas, the rooms have double beds storage and T.V and there is wireless internet. We are close to the bus services and to town and the city center.
We have a 6 year old son and one small dog. We welcome all guests.

About the Area
We are in town and have excellent bus connections right outside the house. We are close to local cafes and supermarkets, parks and malls. The river is near by for scenic walks and you can also bike around with ease.

Dianna and Geoff were truly amazing to live with. They helped me starting out here in setting up my bank account and other things for my year working holiday. They always had recommendations. Also I plan to do the Te Aroroa trail in which they are going to get me together with a couple that has already done it for advice. They treated me like family and I feel like I am part of their family. I am moving in with friends now and plan to come back and visit them for supper or just having drinks to chat. I tell everyone back home I have a NZ family. Also another thing that I loved is that they had people from different nationalities while I was here. I became friends with a few of them and talked about visiting them when I travel to their country some day. I'd recommend Dianna and Geoff to anyone.

Dianna rents several rooms professionally and with a big heart. She is cosmopolitan and cordial and the conversations with her were informative and inspiring. It was a pleasure to meet her and her family. Thank you.

This is a very gracious and generous family. They answered my many questions cheerfully. The room was superb and my all needs were anticipated. The conversations around the breakfast table were really interesting and represented the main reason why I like to travel.

Where do I start, The accommadation was excellent, large sunny and warm room, very quiet at night. The house always had that Homely feel especially at breakfast. Ideally located for transport into Christchurch and also a pub not too far away.Finally to, Dianna, Geoff and not forgetting Mitchell thanks for making my stay such a rewarding experience. If England visit again I will not hesitate in staying with you.

Although I did not stay with Dianna and Geoff due to a change in my plans,I would say that Dianna was hugely cooperative and understanding and I am sure the Homestay would have been a lovely experience.

Perfect setting for experience a slice of Kiwi culture. Very nice, pleasant and comfortable stay. Geoff and Diana are great hosts. Highly recommended.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
