Large family home by the bus route in Auckland, 4 bedrooms and big lounge Guests' bathroom and small breakfast bar in downstairs and we live in upstairs . That's gives more freedom and Independence for the guests. Clean and tidy and a separate entrance for guests convenient.
If you wish to have dinner , we can discus that as well.
I have a 18 year-old daughter and we don,t have pets.
Close to amenities.
We host students ,So there are people throughout the year at my place. It give you a chance to talk to others and have a bit of fun and make a new friend. We live in Very safe area and it takes 10-15 minuets to the airport by car .

Mary was very welcoming and friendly and in that respect we couldn't fault the stay. That said this is really for students or travellers who are not to fussy with the accommodation. It wasn't really what we are used to at home but the tariff was reasonable and we had to find somewhere at short notice and there was not a lot of choice close to Auckland so we can't complain.

A nice place to meet people (students) and discover Auckland. There is a living room and a little kitchen (for the breakfast) just for the hosts so it is a good way to keep his freedom, the house is far from the city center (about 40min) but the bus stop in front of the house is an advantage (buses all the day).
Moreover, Mary is a very good cook, we have always eaten various and international food. Auckland is a great city with a lot of activities, we loved.February 2013

Mary has been a great host. I enjoyed our conversations and her very delicious meals. She has been very helpful and likeable. I would choose her again as my host anytime!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
