When visiting Lalitpur, I highly recommend staying in Patan Dhoka. It’s the perfect place to experience the authentic Nepali way of life. I have two rooms available, each equipped with a hairdryer, desk and lamp, closet/wardrobe, and mirror. We offer free Wi-Fi, laundry services, breakfast and dinner, and drinking water.
I’m in my 50s but still full of energy. I love talking about science—it really fascinates me. Our family has many fun hobbies. There are four of us: my wife, our two lovely kids, and myself. My wife enjoys making handicrafts and cooking. Our elder daughter loves cooking and dancing, while our younger son is a graphic designer and an artist.
We treat our guests like family members and enjoy doing things together. We love sharing our culture, traditions, and festivals, making your stay both fun and unforgettable. I enjoy board games and cooking and would be happy to share tips to help you enjoy your trip to Patan Dhoka.
We welcome everyone and would be delighted to have you join our family. We look forward to getting to know you and interacting with you.
We’ll be expecting you!

Great place to start a new post-Covid series of travels! Suhendra and Bidya were great hosts, dedicated and caring, always here to help us get around (and not get lost!) or give us a better insight into their culture. We had very enlightening conversations about different aspects of life in Nepal and Suhendra's cheerful demeanor, always laughing or humming a tune, made us feel at home. Great cooking and talking with by Bidya and their helpful daughter who helped us with our plans to the very last minute. And of course, a thought for Beadle and his antics!

I enjoyed the stay with the family (dog included). All the members are very smiling (dog included :-) ). The house is very quiet, away from Kathmandu (Patan) traffic. To visit the town without to be lost, i used "OsmAnd" on my phone (GPS and accurate map). So you can start your visit of Nepal with Suhendra and his family the time to be confortable and then visiting other places.
