Located in the heart of Kathmandu valley, at a 10 minute drive from the International airport, this home stay provides a perfect location for you to start your journey through the streets of Kathmandu. Many picturesque temples, monasteries, palaces, ponds, botanical gardens are easily accessible from this location. Despite being so close to the hub of city life, we guarantee you a peaceful, clean living space at an affordable price. Living with our Nepali family would mean experiencing various aspects of Nepali culture, delicious Nepali foods and participating in Nepali rituals.
We can help you with your travel arrangements in and outside Kathmandu valley, especially to the picturesque city of Pokhara, trekking routes to the base camps, jungle safari in Chitwan, tea gardens in Ilam or monasteries in Lumbini. Besides providing with suggestions, we would guide you through Durbar squares in Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur and many other beautiful places giving you a culturally rich experience. We have served many groups of international guests who had a worthwhile time with us. This has given us confidence that by providing the best facilities and true hospitality, we will be able to serve you beyond your expectations.

House Rules
No cigarettes inside the room.
-Maintain low voice after 8 PM
-No outsiders allowed in property.
-Please respect local cultures and tradition.
-If staying late after 9 pm please inform us in advance.
-and as water and electricity is of scarce in Kathmandu so we request all our guest to use it wisely .
we strictly do not allow outsiders in the property.(in case of any meetings with friends in the homestay host family has to be made aware of it.

Sugat and Roshani are the most amazing hosts. It's not only called a homestay, you actually feel like being a part of the family. We had a lot of special moments and great conversations together. Sugat is like a travel agency and would help you with any organisation issue and Roshani is the most amazing cook!
Also the location is really convenient. It's in a local neighbourhood but close to all the tourist attractions. The rooms are super cozy and the beds comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen are always clean and you have the nicest view from the rooftop.

Staying at Sugats was a real pleasure! I felt welcomed and I really felt the "Guest is God" mentality.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
