Kita-Senju Station is on the Hibiya and Chiyoda lines of the Tokyo metro, the Tsukuba Express linking Akihabara Station and Tsukuba in Ibaraki Prefecture, the Joban Line from Ueno Station to Sendai and the Tobu Skytree Line from Asakusa Station to Tobu-Dobutsu-Koen Station in Saitama Prefecture and handy for getting to Tokyo Skytree.
Kita-Senju Station has two exits: the West Exit and the East Exit.
The Kita-Senju Station building contains a Lumine department store with a large number of fashion stores and a restaurant floor (Chinese, omurice, sushi, udon, Vietnamese and a branch of Wired Cafe). There is also a Seijo Ishii import store in the station building.
Across the elevated walkway is a OIOI (aka Marui) department store with a restaurant floor on the 9th floor and a variety of brand stores.
Jumbled around the station are scores of cheap eateries, izakaya and shopping arcades. The narrow streets have an atmospheric shitamachi feel to them completely different to such glitzy areas of Tokyo as Ginza or Roppongi.

My stay with Mirai was really good, she was very friendly and very helpful.
I highly recommend Mirai, all you can ask for :)

Mirai is one of the most caring hosts I've ever stayed with. She respects your privacy and will leave you to explore, equally she is ready to give advice if you need it. My stay was also during a difficult time in world events, so I'm glad she could accommodate me. Thank you very much Mirai!

Bien situado.
Un acierto alojarme con Mirai.
Recomendable 100 %.April 2019
Mirai is a wonderful friendly and helpful person. As soon as you got a question, she is there for you to help. We really enjoyed our stay at Mirai's apartment and had some nice chats with her. Keeping the house rules was no problem for us. Having two train stations nearby, it was easy to get Tokyo city quite quickly. We would definately come back to Mirai's apartment again for the next stay in Japan. ♥

Mirai was a wonderful host, we felt us very well during our stay. She is very friendly and gives her best, to answer every question, even stupid questions about japanese culture :D Cooking with her was much fun and very delicious. If you follow the rules and being polite, you will definitely have a great stay. We sure recommend her.

First you will be shocked because of all the rules but she has to, not of her because of the neighbours. Mirai is really friendly and helpfull if you have any question you can ask her an she will answer it. I really enjoyed the stay by here. I didn´t do much with here but she was still friendly to me. The location is good you have two stations near by which go straight in the center of Tokyo. Also arround there are many places were you can watch the Sakura or can go to eat. I enjoyed my time.
January 2019
The first days, Mirai was really welcome and friendly, but after taking a bath too late which was - as we learned - against the house rules she got very cold and we didn't see her for three days. On the last day she woke me up and when I got my luggage down, all our food that was in the fridge was laying on the kitchen table. I understand it was checkout time but I found it really rude to act that way.
Other than that, the room was pretty cold and nothing special given the price.January 2019
The host cancelled the booking 45 days before the arrival date.

Mirai was a friendly host with good English. And I enjoy the Japanese bath everyday.

Mirai was welcoming and friendly. Her home is beautiful and the room has everything you need. Our first night she was so kind to show us around the close neighborhood streets with restaurants and explained each restaurant as everything was written in Japanese.
We were out most of the days but were welcomed back once we returned each night. I would definitely recommend staying here. As for the station, it's about 7-10 minutes walking to Kita Senju station which is pretty big with good connections to several popular spots in Tokyo.
Me and my girlfriend would be happy to go back and spend some more time with Mirai, she is lovely and speaks very good English, so it's easy to talk to her :)
