So friendly and inviting, the apartment was great! Thank you and hopefully will be back in Japan soon.
Staying with Chie and Gigen was beyond amazing.
The apartment is pristine and newly built, the room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The location is amazing as well, and is one of the few home stays that is so conveniently located in Tokyo proper. The area is convenient (stores and restaurants all around), and has access to many parks with rivers and bridges. For an idea of what the area is like, the anime March Comes In Like A Lion is set in this part of town.
With Kachidoki station just outside, you have very easy access to Roppongi and Shinjuku, and also Shibuya via 1 transfer. Also, Tsukiji and Toyosu are within easy walking distance as well.
Chie and Gigen were very friendly and could not have been more welcoming into their wonderful home. I’d stay again whenever I have the chance. The home, the hosts, and the neighborhood are all perfect for living in Tokyo.
Chie is lovely and her English is great. The apartment is small but perfectly designed. Comfortable bed, good shower and good air conditioning. Would definitely stay there again.
What a wonderful couple and so friendly. The apartment is well located with a subway station just a block away and so much all within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return my next time in Tokyo.
They were incredibly accommodating and considerate hosts, the place was perfect, and Tokyo was unforgettable!
Absolutely loved my stay with Chie!!! She and her husband made me feel right at home and were super nice. They were very accommodating and were great house mates to have. The room is a perfect size, you can open your luggage and it even has a closet! The bed was very comfy and the air conditioner was great on the hot summer nights. There is a supermarket and a bakery literally right below the apartment, as well as some restaurants nearby. There is a nice park and the Kachidoki station on the same block. It was really convenient being a few minutes walk from the train station!
Overall amazing. Definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance.
I had a great experience staying in Chie's house. it was very clean and located close to public transport. Chie and Gigen are friendly, lovely couples that are always willing to help. Would highly recommend their house to anyone coming to Tokyo.
I spent a lovely time with Chie and her husband. The accomodation is really close to the subway and konbini. She helped me with any questions I had.
I've had a really comfortable stay Thank you
