Kyoko is a wonderful person and host.
Her cooking is very delicious, the breakfast and dinner are plenty and she will go out of her way to make dishes you like. The house was a little hard to find first, but the stay there made more then up for it. I enjoyed oir conversations and the time there very much!February 2024

Comfortable and suburban. If you are looking for a slower paced side of Tokyo, Kyoko-san's home could be a great option. Great home-cooked food, laundry done for you, and a quiet, clean space. I enjoyed taking long strolls in the neighborhood and experiencing the slower everyday life away from the hustle and bustle. Kyoko-san will help you with literally anything, so don't be afraid to ask! During my 1 month stay, multiple of the other homestayers were repeat visitors, who all spoke fondly of their visits and return visits to Kyoko-san's homestay. I am already missing my time and hope to be back soon! 色々ありがとうございます!

My stay helped immerse me in Japanese culture and provide a good introduction to it and the country. Also a good place to practise the language and nicely situated with easy access to Shinjuku and Shibuya

During my 4 nights stay with Kyoko san, she taught me about kindness and trust. On the fifth day of leaving, there was a tinge of reluctance as I was already accustomed to our shared breakfast and morning banter.
Great place with good vibes in a good residential area. Would stay again and recommend.

My stay with Kyoko-san was incredible! Her house is very nice and modern, the bed was super comfortable, and the location is fantastic. I really enjoyed chatting with Kyoko-san and she was patient with my beginner Japanese. She is a very kind and caring person, and really goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She's also very relaxed and easy going, and this really aligned well with my relaxed pace trip. ありがとうございました!

I enjoyed my short stay in Tokyo at Kyoko's place. She knows English to a degree, some Japanese does help a long way. If you ever have trouble locating her like I did, she met up with me midway walking towards her place, provided you shared a method to communicate with her.
Despite no access to the kitchen Kyoko makes breakfast for everyone who are staying over at her rooms, and they taste great and are very filling, and even considered my dislike of cucumbers. She also offers laundry for a fee, so don't hesitate to ask questions. The room I stayed in was very comfortable, that I've passed out a couple of times after taking trips out to Tokyo areas. I would advise future guests to at least separate garbage as most household in Japan do, they are collected the day before the garbage collection schedule. She has a few rooms available for guests, so I did spend some mornings chatting with my roommates. I'd say, just be aware that you will be sharing a space with other roommates, so you will take turns using the toilet and the shower area. You can often catch Kyoko watching television in the evenings, and you can talk to her about your day's adventure.
