Welcome at Savino's, a REAL homestay experience! :)
In my own and completely renovated apartment I have 2 nice rooms for those people who want to try a different kind of homestay: I love interacting with my guests, give them a lot of tips about this beautiful city and especially make them feel at home, staying at my place is not just like renting an anonymous room and nothing more. :)
You'll find blankets, sheets and pillows, all the necessary for a good rest.
You can use the kitchen if you want, just ask me how it works.
Free wi-fi and hot water 24 hours. There's no air conditioned in the room but there's a fan during summer.
I'll give you the keys of the apartment so you can freely get in-out without any problem. No curfew and no cleaning fees.
My flat is at the 2nd of a 6 floors building, with elevator.
Check-in after 16.40 when I come back from work (monday to friday, weekend flexible), check-out always flexible, I don't like to kick people out like hotels ;)
Considering you'll share the apartment with me I'd really appreciate if you send me some informations about you, with whom you are travelling, your travelling purpose, etc. Thanks :)

About the Area
This is a "real" Florentine neighborhood and just 15-20 minutes by foot from the city center: you'll live like a local with easy access to all the turistic attractions. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.. Everything nearby!
From the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) you can easily reach my house by foot in 10-15 minutes, otherwise by bus in 4-5 minutes, lines 22, 23 or 57.
Bus stop is 30 metres far from my building, ticket € 1.20, valid 90 minutes.
The airport is 10 minutes distance by taxi or 15 minutes by shuttle bus (€ 6) from the train station, if I'm home I can give you a lift or pick you up, just ask, don't be shy ;)

Savino es un muy buen host, es muy amigable, nos guió muy bien por Florencia, con grandes recomendaciones, su casa está bien ubicada y es fácil llegar al centro desde allí, todo muy limpio y en general, todo estuvo super bien. Nos ayudó a dejar las maletas al momento de salir y siempre estuvo super abierto a ayudarnos.

We absolutely loved our stay with Savino. He was very accommodating, he gave us some great recommendations in regard to food, activities, sites. Both in Firenze and the country side. We couldn't recommend him higher.

The stay at Savino's was delightful. The place of full of good energy and there's a very homey vibe that you'll most likely will love. Savino is really helpful and extraordinary in giving advices about the best places to see, eat etc. I would highly recommend a stay at his place. I'll come back for sure.

Savino was a great host. Extremely helpful, accommodating and welcoming! And his place is very well situated in a "real" neighbourhood, but still close to all the attractions.

Along with the great location and insights of Savino, we had a glorious 4 night stay! Pay attention to his recommendations as HE KNOWS FLORENCE!
Savino’s home is neat and clean! The bedrooms are LARGE! He has several binders filled with glowing words, thanks and big praises from his homestay peeps! That says a LOT if you read reviews.
The bus stop into the city is about 75’ from his home. It’s great that ‘The Family Bar’ (coffee shop) is right beside the bus stop for a morning coffee or pastry. The barista is great!
There are several restaurants very close to Savino’s home which is fabulous.

Savino was a wonderful host. He gave us plenty of space but also helped us out greatly to find our way around the city and know all the good places to visit. Highly recommend his place to anyone travelling to Florence :)

I had a great time in Florence with Savino. Savino is a great host. He is friendly and helpful. He provided me with a map and gave me a lot of suggestions/advice about Florence. His apartment is clean and spacious. It is located in a nice neighborhood. It is within walking distance of the train station and the attractions of Florence. Savino helped to make my stay much easier and problem free. Savino is a 5-star host- I highly recommend him and would like to return one day

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
