Gennaro and Anna live on the road leading to the crater of Vesuvius, living alone because their children, now grown up, married and have left home.
Their home is a villa which is part of a small group of houses, but it is completely isolated from everything else.
The structure has two levels dipped in the green, living and sleeping area, and has a nice garden with 2 parking spaces. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen and 2 salottti for a complete relaxation.
Warm and cozy in winter, cool and relaxing summer.
Their hobbies are cooking, long walks and gardening.

About the Area
Our house is located in the Vesuvio National Park. It is located at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level.
From the crater of Vesuvius is about 10 minutes by car and 45/60 minutes walk.
It is located about 10 km of the nearest village, about 30 minutes from Naples and about 45 minutes from the port of Naples.

you can not walk to the accommodation, unless it is not a problem to climb to 10 KM uphill !!!!

Staying with Anna and her family has been the highlight of my trip to Italy so far. They were SO welcoming and hospitable. I really enjoyed sharing dinner (and homemade wine with peaches mmm) with them. Her grandson Gennaro speaks amazing English and was really easy to talk to. Anna even gave me some little gifts, including peach jam that she made herself. Their house was very big and beautiful, too. I can't recommend this homestay enough! (It is ideal if you have your own car though. I am not sure if there is pubkic transportation. Maybe you can take a taxi from Ercolano.) Thanks again!

Lovely warm generous Hosts. An In House adventure on the side of approach Road to the Summit of Vesuvious. opportunity to visit the excavations of Ercolano. Guide 100 Euros . Entrance discounted if EU pensioner. Good Walks. Excellent meals & drink offered in House . You want to speak Italian & adventure with a Lovely Italian Couple.? Then this is for you .I loved my week. Un cadre superbe avec vue sur Naples, des hôtes charmants et attentionnés. Calme assuré pour dormir. Les repas partagés délicieux et dans la bonne humeur. Dommage que nous habitions si loin car nous y retournerions sans hésiter !

Wonderful family, wonderful place!! Best experience ever. Anna and Gennaro not only made us feel like family, we actually were part of the family and truely fell in love with all of them, their home, the surrounding and the absolutely delicious food they made for us (best cooks in the world!!). To stay there was fantastic, more than we have ever expected. We were also shown around and given insider knowledge of the area. We will be back, that's for sure. This we highly recommend This place.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
