Really enjoyed this homestay. Sam's partner welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. She even made sure the heating was on so that our two rooms were even more comfy and cosy. TVs were provided in our rooms so my friends and I enjoyed drinking the tea we were provided with together while lounging on the beds together in front of the TV. A really nice relaxed homestay and it felt like we had the house largely to ourselves. We were even allowed to use the kitchen in the morning to make ourselves a big cooked breakfast which ate on the lawn in the sun at the back of the house. Would recommend this homestay and will definitely be going back when I am in Manchester. About 5.6miles /25 minutes from city centre by car. Tram stop is a few minutes down the road but we didn't need to use it.

Quite simply the best home stay in Cuba anyone could wish for! We had the most incredibly welcoming reception from Jose and the family. Jose genuinely makes it his priority to make sure everything about the home stay is perfect. On arrival we even had complimentary shower gel and hand cream in a gorgeous air-conditioned room, a luxury considering we had to provide our own bar soap in other casas. Our room was immaculately tidied everyday and fresh linen on the beds. The meals Jose cooked for us were wonderful and he catered to our every wish. Even though water shortages were becoming a problem for other Casas Jose ensured the water tanks were full come what may - hot and cold water were available 24/7. Wifi is even available. The house is ideally located to get to the bars/restaurants and historic centre of Trinidad. Jose was the best in every way and speaks near perfect English. He made booking our excursions exceptionally easy by arranging for a scuba diving instructor and horse riding tour operator to come to the casa to discuss our requirements at our earliest convenience. And although the casa is up a small flight of stairs you need not worry - Jose insists on carrying everything up! He went above and beyond hunting down guava jam for me to take back to the UK and helping us get back on the road when our hire car had unexpected puncture. We can't thank you enough Jose!
