La nostra casa si trova a Khusibu, Nayabazar, a 15 minuti a piedi dal principale centro turistico di Thmel, in una zona residenziale molto sicura e tranquilla all'interno della valle di Kathmandu. Puoi trovarci anche su google maps. Siamo facilmente raggiungibili a piedi dalla maggior parte dei luoghi principali, come 7 km a ovest dell'aeroporto internazionale di Tribhuvan, 18 minuti a piedi da Kathmandu Durbar Square, 15 minuti dal Tempio di Swayambhunath (Tempio delle scimmie), 20 minuti a piedi da Kantipath (parco degli autobus turistici ), 20 minuti a piedi dal parcheggio degli autobus di Balaju, 5 minuti dalle fermate degli autobus turistici ecc.
La nostra casa è un bellissimo edificio di 4 piani, al 4° piano, dove 3 accoglienti camere private (2 doppie e 1 letto matrimoniale) con bagno in comune (bagno comune), acqua calda/fredda 24 ore su 24, WiFi ad alta velocità gratuito e terrazza, dove tutti possono rilassarsi prendendo aria fresca e possono osservare uno splendido scenario intorno alla valle di Kathmandu.
Siamo una piccola famiglia "Rai" di Ilam, parte orientale del Nepal. Io, Bina ospite della famiglia, mio marito "Mr Puran Rai" e un figlio di 14 anni. Lavoro nella scuola Montesswari e mio marito lavora nel turismo. Mio marito parla bene l'inglese oltre al francese. Potrebbe fornire tutti i tipi di informazioni di viaggio, trekking e tour, se necessario. Saremo a tua disposizione per aiutare i nostri ospiti nel momento in cui ne avrai bisogno e ti assicureremo anche che ti troverai a tuo agio con noi durante il soggiorno. Siamo sempre felici di aiutare i nostri ospiti in qualsiasi momento.

Ci sono due modi per arrivare a casa nostra dall'aeroporto.
Se ci fornisci il numero del tuo volo e l'orario di arrivo, possiamo venire o mandare un autista a prenderti all'aeroporto. Si prega di notare che l'autista addebita 800 rupie nepalesi (US $ 8) per il ritiro diurno.
L'altra opzione è prendere un taxi. Puoi chiamarci o chiedere al tassista di chiamarci dall'aeroporto per le indicazioni per il nostro posto. Dista circa 20 minuti dall'aeroporto.
Sarebbe un grande onore darti l'opportunità di darti il benvenuto nella nostra famiglia. "Vieni come ospite e vai come amico"

Forniamo una colazione semplice, inclusa nella tariffa della camera. La colazione sarà pane locale / pancake / uova / patate fritte ecc. Con latte in stile nepalese o tè nero / caffè.

Come da richiesta, possiamo fornire la cena. Il costo aggiuntivo sarà di 3 USD a persona. Il pranzo o la cena saranno cibi locali (riso, daal, curry di verdure di stagione o pollo al curry, sottaceti, frutta ecc.).

La nostra casa si trova a 15 minuti a piedi dal principale centro turistico di Thmel, in un'area di residenza molto sicura e tranquilla all'interno della valle di Kathmandu. Troverete ristoranti, bar, alimentari locali, mini market, ospedale, bancomat ecc. Chiusi a casa nostra. A circa 50 metri di distanza, è possibile accedere ai trasporti pubblici (bus e micro bus) che circolano in ogni parte della città, così come il servizio taxi privato per raggiungere i principali siti Patrimonio dell'Umanità, palazzi storici ecc. Quindi, possiamo dire, la nostra casa è la migliore posizione per i turisti.

Un hote et une famille incroyable : jeune francaise pensant réussir le trek des Annapurna seule , Rai , le père de famille m' a redirigé avec un guide pour plus de sécurité , dans les meilleurs rapports qualité-prix ! Et heureusement ! Je déconseille fortement à une femme seule de le faire ! Merci à Rai pour son hospitalité et son humanité

I had a great stay with Puran and his family! They provided me with a clean room, bathroom and living room as well as a common rooftop terras, making me feel very much at home. Location was ideal, about 15-20min walk to Thamel. Daily breakfast was lovely and from time to time I enjoyed a cup of tea and a good chat with Puran, his family and other guests. Communication with Puran was very good and whenever I required some information or help, a quick response was there!
I recommend this homestay to anyone who wants to stay in Kathmandu!

Accueil chaleureux, très dévoués et serviables. Habitation située dans un quartier calme et à proximité de Thamel. Chambres agréables avec accès terrasse. Petit déjeuner très apprécié. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de Bina et Puran.

Chaleureuse famille qui m'a aider à organiser mon séjour à Katmandu. Puran m'a également organisé mon trek dans les Annapurna. Cela m'a grandement aider car, il faut l'admettre, les choses ne sont pas toujours simples au Népal. Adresse à recommander fortement.

Bina, Puran and their 2 sons are such a wonderful family, very warm and welcoming. They helped me with everything, including the preparation of my Annapurna trek ! Food is delicious, I had my first masala tea ever at their home and I am now an addict of it. Go to their house, you'll be in good hands :)

Excellent hosts. Tidy, clean bedroom and bathroom. Hot shower available if wanted. Beautiful roof view of Kathmandu. Walking distance to city. Very happy with my stay. Hosts kindly allowed me to leave my bag while I completed Annapurna Trek.

What can I say? This family homestay was by far the best homestay I have stayed in, I was welcomed by Bina,her husband Piran and their children. As a solo female traveler finding a safe and decent place to stay in is important, not once did I feel out of place while staying here. This family is very respectful, caring and were willing to give out their limbs just to help with whatever it was that I needed. They helped me plan out day trips, get a SIM card, informed me about what buses to take to my destinations, and were always just a text away. What I love most is how genuine and good hearted people they are, nothing was ever forced, my initial plan was to stay with them for 5 days but I ended up staying for almost an entire month. One thing that won't disappoint is Binas cooking, Dal Bhat the right way! Breakfast is complimentary and very well made. The rooms are kept clean, restrooms are well maintained and they offer you their washing machine incase you have clothes that need washing. This family homestay is no more than a 15 minute walk into Thamel, and other attractions . With an open mind and willingness to explore Nepali culture this is the place to acquire new experiences. With the same respect and amount of love that this family has shown me I too return that by giving them recognition through this review.

Puran and his family are lovely, and very welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable, and the food served for breakfast and dinner was very tasty. Puran will answer any questions you have about Kathmandu and travelling in Nepal. The house also has a rooftop area, with beautiful views of Kathmandu. The only drawback is that there is just one bathroom, shared by the guests of three rooms. This sometimes means having to wait for a while to get in. That aside, this is a great place to stay during your time in Kathmandu.

If you are thinking about finding the best homestay in Kathmandu... Well, here it is! Puran and Bina are such welcoming people. I planned to stay 3 nights but I extended for other 3 nights. Their house is at walking distance from all the interesting places in Kathmandu, and they are very happy to help or to suggest other places to visit and the way to reach them. I enjoyed to share the dinner with them, I felt really welcomed in the family. They taught me some useful sentences in Nepali, one day I could go with Bina to visit the kindergarten where she warks (I'm a teacher) and I'm sure I will be back when I come again to Kathmandu... So, don't hesitate! :)

nous te remercions pour ces superbes moments passés dans ta maison. En venant au Népal, nous voulions découvrir la culture népalaise et grâce à toi, nous avons pu découvrir ta culture. Tu n'es pas seulement notre hôte de Kathmandu, tu es devenu notre ami.
Merci infiniment Puran pour ton accueil, ton sourir, tes précieux conseils et ton dévouement. Tu as rendu notre séjour au Népal inoubliable et unique !Pour ceux et celles qui cherchent une maison à Kathmandu nous vous recommendons vivement cette famille. La maison est très propre, la chambre est confortable, et la salle de bain est spacieuse avec de l'eau chaude 24/24h. Le wifi fonctionne à merveille et la nourriture est délicieuse (on ne voulait pas manquer un dîner !). Puran et sa famille sont des gens généreux, honnêtes et d'une gentillesse extrême. Ils prennent plaisir à vous faire partager leur culture si vous voulez apprendre, et Puran travaille dans le tourisme et peut volontier vous aider dans l'organisation de votre séjour (cela nous a beaucoup aidé pour choisir notre trek et réserver notre bus pour aller à Chitwan).
Nous reviendrons te voir avec joie Puran. Cette fois pour un nouveau trek au Népal. En attendant prenez bien soin de vous.
