Having enjoyed many times the experience of being hosted in other people's homes while travelling we know what is expected by guests. We have also enjoyed having the many guests we have hosted.

Hi, we are Valerie and Noel and we have enjoyed meeting people from around the world for many years. We have two children who are grown up and they have left home to make their own way in life. We like to go out walking with our friendly dog Lucy, travel and socialising with family and friends. When you stay at our house you can enjoy a friendly atmosphere. We are here to help when needed.
The house is modern, quiet, warm and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook meals or do your laundry. The bedrooms are bright, spacious and each room has a private En-suite bathroom. The twin beds can convert easily and quickly to a large comfortable king size bed for couples. There is WiFi in all rooms. Please see house rules regarding overnight guests/friends staying in rooms booked as single occupancy.

The area is very safe and convenient with banks, supermarkets, cinemas and more within a few minutes walk. It is only a two minute walk to the bus stop where there are numerous frequent bus routes. The Dart train station is 15 minutes away and the city centre is only less than 20 minutes by bus or train so there is easy access to many colleges, universities, companies and business parks. There are many parks and beaches which are very accessible for those who like the outdoors. The beautiful St Anne's Park with pleasant walks, gardens and playground is only a 15 minute stroll away. The airport is a 15-20 minute taxi ride.

Valerie and Noel (and Lucy the dog) have been kind and welcoming hosts. They helped me throughout my stay in Dublin and gave me good advice. Their house is easy to find, clean, and modern; the wifi is great and the bedroom is spacious. I'm really lucky and thankful for all the good things they've done for me! I highly recommend this place :)

The room was a cozy little nest for me and my children.

My husband and I had a great stay with Valerie, she and her husband were very nice and helpful. House was always clean and the neighborhood is peaceful, quiet and just 20 minutes from city centre. Would recommend to anyone :)

Both Valerie and Nowa are lovely. I really enjoyed my stay at their place. The room I got was exactly as it is in the photos. Very big, very comfy. The bed was actually the most comfortable bed I've ever had. Also, the place is very quiet and it has lots of shops and supermarkets where you can buy groceries. The kitchen was well equiped with all kind of utilities. Also, there are more than one bus that goes to the city center in less than 25 minutes. Loads of green areas too.

I could not have hoped for a better start to my stay in Dublin. Valerie and Noel went the extra mile to make me feel welcome - not only in their home - but in Ireland in general. They were both extremely helpful in telling me about where I could find shops, what bus would be best for me to take as well as other nuggets of wisdom only a kind local family could impart. Thanks Valerie and Noel for always going the extra mile to help me and for all the kindness you showed me.
The bedroom and en suite bathroom were both clean and in great condition. There is a major bus stop less than 2 minute walk, which will take you to the city center in less than 30 mins. I do highly recommend staying here for a short or a long term stay, you will not regret it.

Very nice and spacious room, super comfortable bed.
Very close to a bus lane, but the road is a secondary one, with no traffic during night, so very very quiet too.
Valerie has been an amazing host, we have some good chat, and was gentle and helpfull.If I came back to Dublin trying to book again here will be my first priority.
