Bright room in a cozy semi-detached house with a large garden. House is located in a cul-de-sac in quiet neighbourhood and close to Griffeen Valley park. Room is spacious with double bed and large closet. With the room comes the private bathroom with bathtub. If needed, we can arrange small desk in the room, although there are other areas in the house that can be used as work area.
One older cat lives in the house, but I'm also fostering for a registered charity, so there might be other foster kittens in the house going through socialisation process while they wait for their forever home. That brings a lot of fun, but also some mischievous moments when kittens get very brave around the house.

Area is serviced by several bus lines and train, and bus station is 5 mins walk. City center can be reached in 45 mins during peak times (bus lines C1 and C2).

The host does not know what the word "host" mean.
Never felt so uncomfortable renting a room (I have done it in the past and lived with landlords with no issues whatsoever) in my entire life. The situation got so horribly tense that I ended up leaving only eleven days after my arrival, even though the reservation for the entire month had already been paid (as it should be, because those are the rules and of course I paid in advance when I got to the house). The day I left she ended up apologising and gave me some of the money back, even though I never asked for it (I could not stay there one more day even if it meant not only that I was going to lose the money spent on that accomodation, but also that I was going to spend even more to stay somewhere else: it was plain misery). On top of that, there are plenty of rules regarding the house, most related to many things that need fixing, such windows, doors, etc., because it is an old house. And cat-related. If you still dare renting a room with her, make sure you ask her every single question you may have prior to booking, because otherwise she will blame it on you for "not asking".
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
