About the Homestay
We are two working professionals in Dublin and living in Lucan. Our home is a modern 3 bed semi in a quiet suburban housing estate, a few minutes walk from a well serviced bus route to the city. Please note bus fare to the city is €2.70 with a Leap card or approx 3.30 for an individual fare and takes about 35/40 minutes. We're a few minutes walk from coffee shops and a local library and about 12 minutes from Lucan village, which boasts a thatched roofed pub and several restaurants/pubs and shops. We're a short bus ride from busy Liffey Valley shopping centre/cinemas. We love dogs and animals generally and have a friendly Shih Tzu, Rubi who we like walking. There are some nice walks locally by the river Liffey and there's a running track in the nearby park. We have a bedroom with sole use of a bathroom. The bed is a small double for single use.

Also just a few minutes walk away from coffee shops/shops and local library and a little further on is Lucan village with plenty of pubs and restaurants and shops set around a scenic park, complete with river and ducks. Beautiful warm homely house with great hosts. Highly recommended.
Carol and Pamela made me feel very welcome, the bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom for guests was nice. I would highly recommend staying here.
Exactly as I expected. I arrived late and left early but made most welcome. Couldn't ask for anything else. Thanks again
I really enjoyed my stay at Caroline's. Her house is so homely and clean .Caroline and Pamela are such lovely hosts.I would highly recommend a stay here and I will definitely stay here again in the future.
Caroline was a great host ever so helpful with information on the buses and made me feel ever so welcome and couldn't do enough for me and her sister Pamela also there both lovely people.
Caroline is very Nice and gave us good tips in what to do in Dublin.
Breakfast was great!!
The host are very kind. They are tyring to help and make you really feel comfortable the whole time. There is also a little dog who is slightly spoiled but harmless and brisk. The room and the separate bathroom were clean and cosy. The accommondation is easy to reach by bus. The breakfast is good, you have got the choice between toast or cereal and the possibility to get coffee, tea and juice. Only the shower could be a little bit stronger. It was a nice stay and I am appreciative for their hospitality.
