Our house is located just off the Howth Road in the pleasant area of Clontarf, convenient to Dublin city centre. There is a bus stop very close by on the Howth Road, and we are a 15 mins walk to both Clontarf Road and Killester DART stations.
15- 20 mins to city centre by public transport. Ideal for tourists or students wanting easy access to Dublin City Centre.
Excellent access to Croke Park, 10 minutes walk to Clontarf promenade. 10 min walk to supermarket. Several pubs and restaurants within walking distance.
Our light-filled first floor includes an atrium and kitchen/living room. On the top floor there are three rooms, two of which are available to guests, a double and a single. A toilet/bathroom is available exclusively for the guests.
Our leisure time revolves mostly around visiting historic and pre-historic sites of interest, as well as music, drama and reading.

About the Area
Our house is located in a small quiet terrace of town-houses just off the Howth Road, in the leafy and relaxed Clontarf area. We are only 20 mins drive from the airport, 10 mins from Dublin Port, 15 mins to the M50 ring road. Two stops on the DART to Trinity College and convenient to DCU and Killester College.
We are convenient to the City Centre, which is about 3 km away, and we are just a minute's walk from the bus stop.

We do not smoke inside the house and would be grateful if our guests did not do so either.
Please don't invite additional guests in to the home.
Please be conscious of other guests when using hot water in the shower.

John and Sile were so welcoming. Made me feel right at home from day one. Very helpful with train reservations and transportation to the HEUSTON Station. I would welcome the chance to stay with them again. A grand accommodation.

The bed is very confotable and clean. The house is modern and bright with an excellent shower and bathroom just for the guests. The owners are excellent people, they are most welcoming, helpful and great to have a conversación with. The locación is close to the city centre and Howth with a public golf course, with a bustop 200 metres from the house. The buses come very frequently. There is also a supermarket which opens everyday from 9am to 11 pm. There is a chemist and two excellent pubs where you can have a nice dinner or a drink there is Park very near and the kilester dart station is a 20 minute walk from the house.

I had a lovely stay with John and Síle. They were very kind and welcoming. The house was clean and comfortable. The location is safe and ideal for commuting to Dublin city centre. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
