We are ideally located for a visit to Dublin, with easy access to all areas with public transport readily available on the doorstep.
We are only 4Km/20 mins by bus to Dublin city, train stations, Croke Park and accessible for all entertainment venues and a mere 15 mins by taxi to Dublin airport. We are a walk away from Dublin City University (DCU) and 5 minutes from the National Botanical Gardens in a leafy mature residential area of Historical Glasnevin.
We offer a warm welcome to our guests to our bright spacious sky blue attic room. It isn’t just a bedroom, we like to think of it as being your own space to relax and unwind and plan your day. We are also happy for guests to enjoy sitting in the back garden/ patio area on a sunny day.
Our preference is for two people sharing rather than a single occupancy but we are very happy to host one person too so please feel free to make contact. On road parking is available free of charge for one car - at owners own risk.
We are happy to provide a complementary continental breakfast (upon request).
Wifi is included. Ideal for friends, couples/parent(s) with small child*.
*We offer an extra comfortable fold up bed free of charge for a child under 10 years of age if staying with two adults.
Please note children/teenagers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
The sunny Sky Blue room has large windows overlooking our back garden and polytunnel to the rear or the Dublin mountains to the front. There are two single beds, a sofa to relax on, a radio/CD player and a writing desk, the en-suite is small, compact and private. Hair dryer, towels and bathroom accessories are all provided.
We are happy to answer any questions and will endeavor to make your stay in Dublin as comfortable as possible.
* Please note we have a St Patrick’s weekend rate of €180 per night for the room in March 2024. This includes a light breakfast.
This price applies for single or double occupancy per night.

Fiona’s place is a very cosy and pleasant one. She knows everything about the city and how to get everywhere. The place is only 20 m from the Dublin centre. Cook a tasty breakfast and meals. Room perfectly nice with good hot shower. Highly recommended.

This is a fatalistic memory of mine, I truly have got brilliant living with localised traditions and funs, not to mention the sky blue house, I had always seen pure blue sky through the window besides the ceiling, I would cherish this experience with Fiona and her handsome dog for sure. Thank you, I will miss you.

Fiona and her family welcomed us wonderfully into their home. The room is very comfortable, spacious and has a private bathroom which is fantastic. The house is very clean and tidy. In the morning and at the end of the day we always had the table set with variety, full of details and a little note Fiona was tireless in guiding us on our visit to Dublin, in helping us with absolutely everything and always super helpful. It was our first homestay stay and we felt we had the best experience possible! I recommend 100%
