About the Homestay
Welcome to our home:)
I'm Seán and I live with my 15 years old daughter and not to forget the smallest member of the family, our lovely dog.
Our home is located within walking distance of Swords town center. We are in an excellent location, close to Dublin airport and on direct bus route to the city centre, as well as 10 minutes from coastal towns of Portmarnock and Malahide.
We provide a warm welcoming home and you'll never be a stranger while staying with us.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast on the patio if you don't mind the Irish weather!!! before heading to town. There are bars, restaurants, supermarkets and parks if you want to explore Swords. The Pavillions Centre is ideal for a spot of shopping or cinema visit. Alternatively take a stroll through the beautiful grounds of Malahide Castle, just a short bus journey away.
We know our guests like their privacy and we will leave you to enjoy your stay.
However, I am happy to chat and I'm always on hand if need it.

Some spaces are shared - Kitchen / Bathroom / Limited Living Room Access
So long as no cleaning fee is charged, the bathroom and kitchen must be kept clean at all times. It would be highly appreciated if the guests could also maintain the cleanliness of both the room and all shared areas.
The cooking should be focused to a single simple dish done in between reasonable hours. Also, both the cooker and kitchen must be left behind in a proper clean state, tidy and in good order. In the end, it is just a matter of respect, hopefully mutual!
This is a homestay accommodation, so please do not treat my place as a B&B or hotel because it is not.
Thank you very much.
Smoking is not allowed.
Sean was a wonderful host, everything you could have expect!
Sean.. You are a good hoste.. And it's so good I'll go again for 4months :-))) to see you soon
Sean est un hôte formidable qui vous reçoit comme des amis de longue date.
Nous avons pu visiter Dublin sans prendre la voiture (environ 40 minutes en bus). Nous recommandons.
Sean offers a warm, Irish welcome! He opens his home up to whomever is staying there. He can’t do enough to make you comfortable in his home. He’s friendly, knowledgeable and it’s a pleasure to be in his company! He went out of his way, picking me up and dropping me off, and making sure my time in Swords was most enjoyable. Lastly, he listened like a (true friend)....to my “often non-stop unfiltered ramblings” when I’d eaten far too many carbohydrates....or for whatever reason I needed to express my opinions about the state of the world! I’m sure I owe him money for much needed therapy sessions-:) Thank you Sean! It was a pleasure meeting you, your son in law and son! All the Best to your family!
This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
Very friendly and nice house. Was very happy with the local information provided and the hospitality.
Sean and his daughter Cloe are very nice and social persons. Sean has entertained us with his stories, interest and love for the people and culture of his Ireland and also the world. He helped us to find the nice places in the surroundings. We enjoyed our visit with Sean, Cloe, the dog and their house in Swords very much. Thank you....
My stay at Sean's house was very good, the room was big with a huge wardrobe, tv and everything you need. Sean was very nice and helpful at all times and I really recommend it, if I need to be in Swords again I will like to go there. Thank you very much Sean!
Good communication, great location if you need an overnight stay near the airport, everything was organized and ready, very friendly host, beautiful garden view from the breakfast table :-). Thank you Sean, should I be coming back to Dublin, I'll gladly remember your place.
