My name is Behnam. I am working in a bookshop in Shiraz. My wife is an IT engineer and a perfect cooker as well. We like to meet and talk with our guests and arrange some surprises for them. Our flat consists of 2 clean rooms that is located in city center of Shiraz. We welcome our guests with tea. Drinking different types of tea in our house are free . If my guests want to eat lunch and dinner, we can make house made food with just 3 dollars (Iranian food including drink and salad). I also can transfer and guide my guests in Pasargadae, Persepolis, Naqshe -rostam (Necropolis) and drive them to other cities such as Yazd and Esfahan.

House Rules
Drinking tea and coffee is free. Using TV, Refrigerator and gas cooker free as well. We consider private towels for our guests. The room service is at 11 a.m and it is free.
The breakfast is local and perfect that includes a lot of meals such as honey, homemade jam, cheese, tea, eggs, milk, sweets and etc. If our guests booked the house for more than 1 night and stayed just one night (by some reason want to check out), 20% cancellation rate will be considered.
Washing machine costs 2 euros.
Smoking Rules

Smoking is allowed indoors and outdoors.

Behnam and Zohreh were more than hosts, they became great friends. They helped us get to know Iran and helped us with the everyday challenges for a foreigner. Behnam accompanied us as a Guide through Persepolis and surroundings, he knows everything about the History of Iran and left us immersed in the charms of Persia. Zohreh presented us with wonderful typical food. Both were very kind and helpful and treated us like family.

Fantastic place with the lovely people! The best accomodation and hospitality you can can imagine in Shiraz. We really appreciate deep Behnam knowledge, feeling like at home experience and all the heart and help he and his wife gave to us. Highly recommended place for those who would like to feel and understand the essence of Iran and for the families like our (with 6 years old son) to rest and enjoy Shiraz city!

Benham and his wife Zohre are very kind and humble people. Benham speaks very good english and some french as well, and is very passionate about history. He can drive you to Persepolis and Necropolis and give you many information if you wish to. Thank you a lot to both of you for being so helpful with me, you are the epitome of Iranian hospitality.

I made a new friend in Shiraz. We stayed at the house of Behnam for three nights and enjoyed very much our stay. His very kind mother was there to help us all the time with what we may need. Our room was very spacious and it had a good working AC. We enjoyed our sleep there during these three nights.
On second day Behnam took us on a tour of Persepolis, Nekropolis and Pasargadae. It was a fantastic experience for me and one of the best tours I had in Iran. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the monuments he is showing and he has a way of keeping the interest high during the tour with his sense of humour. Also I found the tour perfectly organized from his side he had thought of everything we may need.

Behnam was our first host in Iran and honestly we couldn't ask for a better one. He picked us from the airport and from that moment we felt like we found a new friend. Ben is warm, bright, attentive walking encyclopedia. During the time we spent together, we learnt so much about history, customs and gastronomy of Iran, but the most valuable thing was that we felt like part of the family and local society that surround us. How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
