We are a family of 5 from Germany and very much enjoyed our stay at County Pep. That is why we would like to share our experiences with you. On our arrival, Paulose provided us with a warm welcome. We immediately felt like we are welcome and a little at home at his beautiful homestay. The rooms were clean and tidy. Each room had an individual bath room attached. Warm water was always available. Generally, the accommodation was spacious with inside and outside sitting areas and TV. Our host Paulose was very helpful before our stay with the organization of our trip to Wayanad, with the organization of our daily trips around Wayanad and with the organization of our travelling to our next destination. He can provide very valuable information about the tourist spots all over Wayanad and is able to help providing a driver for reaching those destinations. The tourist spots in Wayanad include jeep safaris, visiting a beautiful river delta (Kuruva Island), visiting waterfalls and old temples or hiking up Chembra Peak, where you are rewarded with an amazing view and terrific surroundings. The home cooked food that is there for breakfast and dinner and if you want for lunch, is very delicious. It was our first taste of Kerala south Indian food and we very much enjoyed this new experience! The only suggestion we can make here, is to offer cereals/cornflakes and fruits for breakfast since Non-Indian people might not be used to eat spicy food for breakfast.
In conclusion, we would like to very much recommend County Pep Holiday Home for people visiting South India/Kerala from abroad. The rooms Daffodil and Orchid are very nice, the host Paulose is especially considerate and helpful with any wish you might have and you can authentically experience a typical Kerala home with food and green surroundings! Thank you Paulose for our wonderful stay in your home!Host reply
