How do text and email notifications work?

At the moment of the signup, we need guests and hosts to insert their e-mail address and their phone number so that hosts, guests, and Homestay.com can contact you about your reservations or your account.

  • Guests will be notified each time they receive a new message through the messaging system or when hosts confirm their availability and they can proceed with the booking.
  • Hosts will be notified each time they receive a new booking request from a guest, after a guest sends a new message through the messaging system or when a guest has made a booking with them.
