How do I make sure my guest pays me?

Guests are aware of their requirement to settle the amount owing to their host upon arrival as detailed in the booking confirmation. We do recommend that you agree to your payment terms and conditions prior to your guest arriving.

Most hosts are happy to accept the balance payment in cash upon arrival. Some like to take part-payment prior to arrival, and arrange this by bank transfer or PayPal. If you wish to take payment before arrival you must add this to your profile so that the guest is aware before they make a booking.

Some hosts (depending on your country and currency) can avail of our Deposit payment option. If you sign up to this option, guests must pay 25% of the price of the stay and the 15% booking fee (maximum fee of 250 $£€) to confirm the booking. This 25% deposit payment is paid to you 2 business days after the scheduled arrival date. The time it takes for the funds to arrive in your account depends on your bank. There is a small host service fee (3% of deposit/minimum charge 1 $£€) for availing of this option to cover the transaction fees (credit card fees, bank transfer fees and currency conversion fees). This fee will be automatically deducted from the payment made to you. The payments are made via a third party service provider, Payoneer.
