About the Homestay
My home is 0.5 km away from central Erkrath in the Hochdahl area. Our interests range from sports to music, gigs, festivals. We have 1 Double available with Hair-dryer, Fridge, TV, Radio, Mirror, Closet / Wardrobe, and Desk and Lamp.
Lara is 42 and enjoys sports, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, learning foreign languages, socialising, travel, gardening, and nature. She speaks English, German, and Russian
Victor is 46. He speaks English, German, and Russian and enjoys sports, travel, and car, bike racing
Larissa has 1 child living at home
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Larissa offers qualified language instruction in her native language German. One hour of instruction costs 20.00 EUR. The classes will be given by the host himself at the accommodation.

Lara and Victor were wonderful hosts. They are both extremely nice and caring people who genuinely care for your well being. I felt like literally staying home, they always made an effort to make good meals for me too. The best part is that there is always someone home, if both of them were occupied there was another person who would prepare a hot meal for you which was really nice. Its really easy to get to Dusseldorf or Erkrath from their house, you just walk 50m to the bus it goes straight to the Hochdal station from which there are frequent trains.
Room was spacious and the bathroom was nice and modern. In addition there was an adjacent playroom and well equipped garden which made me wish I had brought my family with me! Their neighborhood is also very calm, quiet and neat as well, with close proximity to shops and the Hochdaler market. I recommend it without hesitation to anyone!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
