Beatrice and Bertrand were very good hosts and spent a lot of time talking to us and helping us improve our French and informing us about places to visit.

Amazing home stay with a lovely family. Béatrice and Bertrand were so welcoming to us and made sure we had a lovely stay. They gave us suggestions on places to go to ensure we made the most of each day. The animals added a lot of charm to the stay too. Merci!

An absolutely lovely host family, so helpful and made my three weeks in Normandy an experience that I will treasure for life.

My stay was great. I came to be integrated totally into a French family and that’s what I got. Although Béatrice teaches english, she and her family spoke to me in French the entire time as I requested which was very helpful. I got to eat with them and learn more about their lives, it was really neat. Bertrand showed me some good bike paths and I got to see a lot of Normandy just by riding around. I had a lot of privacy while I worked, too. I would highly recommend Beatrice’s home

My girlfriend and I stayed for a whole month and it was amazing. Our room was very clean, and it even had a bathroom attached to it so we could have a little bit of privacy. We mostly preferred to spend time with the host family though. We ate most meals together, which were very tasty and not expensive, went to the beach, watched a play, had a barbeque and many things more. When we did things alone, they were really helpful too. They always told us about sites we could visit and once they even helped us to rent a car.
Since they always spoke in French with me, my skills improved, and I easily passed the French entrance exam at my University. However, if you don’t speak French, they all speak English very well (except for Bertrand, maybe ;) ).
We hope to see you again someday!Host reply

Excellent stay with Beatrice and Bertrand close to the historic city of Rouen and also some beautiful coastal villages. They live in a large house near Yvetot in a nice relaxing rural setting. The accommodation was spacious and very clean with my own en suite bathroom. I enjoyed some lovely home cooking and Beatrice and Bertrand also went out of their way to suggest local places of interest to visit. In fact, the well known resort of Deauville is not too far away as an added bonus. All in all I would definitely recommend a homestay with them to get a sample of real french life.

Had a fantastic week staying with Beatrice and Bertrand. They made me feel very welcome, and I was very appreciative of the hospitality extended to me, both in terms of my comfort in their home and support in organising my daily outings. A very enjoyable experience - thank you, Beatrice :-)
