About the Homestay

We are two friends (a Parisian and a Rouennaise sharing a typical southern townhouse with 3 floors and a large terrace in the quiet area of La Roquette.
A room on the second floor will welcome you. The shower room with wc are on the 1st floor.
The dining room and the kitchen are located on the third floor, in front of the terrace and the beautiful view over the rooftops, not far from the Rhône that we guess.
We will take the time to advise you on your visits and activities in the city and in the region rich in heritage.
Method of payment:
A Paypal account will be informed after making the online reservation on this platform.
Please note that we ask our guests to pay us 25% of the reservation amount in advance (after paying the 15% deposit to Homestay.com).
Cancellation Policy: Please note that we ask that our guests inform us of any cancellations at least 10 days before the start of the stay. Cancellations received by us later than 10 days prior to the start of the booking will unfortunately not be refundable.

About the Area
Our house is 25 minutes walk from the train station, and 10 minutes from the historic center with its arenas, its ancient theater, its Romanesque churches in a residential and pedestrian area, very quiet. The square with charming cafes and restaurants is 5 minutes away, as is the excellent bakery! The city can be visited on foot but a bicycle taxi service or buses can be used easily.

J’ai passé un super moment avec Pascale dans sa maison provençale. La maison est située dans un quartier charmant, avec de petites ruelles pavées et de petits cafés, ce qui lui confère un charme certain. La chambre est spacieuse et la maison elle-même est à la fois insolite et belle. Cependant, ce qui a rendu mon séjour véritablement exceptionnel, c’est l’accueil de Pascale. Elle s’est montrée amicale, généreuse et agréable tout au long de mon séjour.

I really enjoyed my stay with Pascale. She was patient with my French and I got to meet some of her friends and neighbours which I was not expecting. She was a real friend to me.

Beautiful quirky characterful house with plenty of personal space provided. Pascale is welcoming and interested. I would certainly seek out this home stay if I wanted to be placed well for exploring Rouen...or indeed just a good place to be for a few days for writing etc
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
