Una familia de cuatro, que vive a 10 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad de Tuam en el condado de Galway, a 21 millas (34 km) de la ciudad de Galway, a 3 minutos a pie de la parada de autobús. Mi hija tiene 25 años y trabaja con discapacidad intelectual, y mi hijo tiene 22 años y estudia música. Somos una familia cariñosa, tenemos grandes personalidades y nos encanta conocer gente nueva.
Casa libre de humo: no fumar en el interior, solo en el exterior.
Una nueva incorporación a tu familia: nuestra perrita Poppy, es muy amigable.
Solicite un pequeño depósito al hacer la reserva a través de mí mismo: trato con revuelta / transferencia bancaria.

Valerie was a lovely host and the room was spacious with a big window and a comfortable bed. The neighbourhood is quiet and the bus station is within a short walking distance of the house. I was very happy to meet Valerie and her family (including Poppy of course), as well as the other guests staying in her home.

My friend and I spent a week with Valery and his family. We loved staying with them. I would recommend it 100%. They are very welcoming and kind, we felt right at home with them. Talking to them is very pleasant, they are open and help you if you have any question. We had access to the kitchen, which is a huge plus. Thank you and your family for allowing us to live with you, it was great.

TL;DR:
- very friendly, helpful family
- room and house very clean
- room's desk suitable for working
- kitchen with all tools needed for cooking
- clean bathroom, hot water on demand
- 5 min walk to LIDL, 3 min walk to bus station (hourly service to Galway City, no night bus)
- musician-friendly
- WIFI not the fastest (fine for media-streaming, not so much for gaming)I stayed at Valerie's for a month and I had a great time. Valerie is very welcoming, cares about you and can give you advice if you need some. She likes to chat with you, but if you don't want to, that's no problem. Her husband and two children are very helpful and friendly as well.
The whole house is kept very clean and tidy. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub with hot water on demand. In the kitchen you'll find everything you could need for cooking. The room's desk is suitable for a laptop with secondary display (17'') which was very important for me because I work from home.
Everything you need is in close proximity to your stay. You'll have a 5min walk to a LIDL where you can get all your groceries and the nearest bus stop is only 3min away at the Circle K fuel station (427/428 to Eyre Square, return ticket 10€).
The family is musician-friendly. I was allowed to have violin practise if I wanted to. Valerie's son will sometimes play the piano which sounds lovely and is neither loud nor annoying in any way.
The WIFI is not the fastest (12Mbit/s down, .6Mbit/s up) but is totally fine for on-demand streaming (Netflix, Disney+, Twitch etc.) just not so much for gaming, but that's no problem for me.
Valerie is very flexible with payment. She doesn't require a deposit and you can pay with cash or via Revolut.
I can really recommend this stay to anyone and I'll definitely revisit her.octubre 2021

¿Cómo se hace una reserva?
Ponte en contacto con el anfitrión para comprobar su disponibilidad y preguntar todo lo necesario sobre la estancia. Una vez que el anfitrión confirme que está disponible para esas fechas, podrás confirmar la reserva.
¿Cuándo se realiza el pago?
Una vez que un anfitrión confirme su disponibilidad, puedes continuar con la reserva mediante el pago del 15% como tarifa de reserva (con un máximo de 250 $£€ para estancias de larga duración), utilizando uno de los siguientes métodos: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB y PayPal (este último no está disponible en ciertos países). Posteriormente, pagarás al anfitrión el mismo día de la llegada, o según las condiciones descritas en el perfil del anfitrión y acordadas en el momento de la reserva. Hay que prestar especial atención a las solicitudes de pago por adelantado por parte del anfitrión, especialmente cuando estas condiciones de pago no están incluidas en el perfil del anifitrión. Todos nuestros anfitriones han sido informados de que si desean solicitar un pago por adelantado, deben indicarlo claramente en el perfil.
