I had great time. Her home is like a hotel and everything is there. The location is also great. The huge park and the beach are walking distance. Darcy and Nick, her husband, are brilliant communicators. Unfortunately I stayed there only for three days though, I wanted to stay much longer and explore many spots, baseing her home.
The host cancelled the booking 30 days before the arrival date.
Although it was four months ago, I had a good time with them. They are big family and they all are very kind. The location is good and near to the bus station. And subway station is not so far. It is walking distance. The room is clean and comfortable. I got wonderful experience with them. I really thank them. None who spent time with them want to go home, I'm sure.
I had happy time in Singapore. Regina's home is near Hougang station and it takes about 10 minutes by walk. To go to station I could take the bus, too. But the area is a suburb and quiet safe area. So I felt walking is more comfortable.
There is Hougang Mall at the station, and between her home and the station there are a few local restaurants. Some of them open all day. I tried the local food there after watching New Year's fireworks. It was good.
I didn't research anything about Singapore before my trip, but Regina always gave me good advice. Although I am not good at direction, I could enjoy sightseeing without stress. While I stayed in her home, there is an anther guest. I got much interesting information and an unforgettable memory from them. I really appreciate it.
Gozo island is really wonderful. And their home is quiet and peaceful. The view from the window, the clean lovely room and delicious meals, not only just good, but also everything was perfect. It surprised me.
I learned English from Colin by ‘walking and talking' way. He is friendly and good teacher. I recognized my English pronunciation problems and appreciate for it very much. I was happy staying in their home. I recommend their home to you.
I have visited Teresa and her family for eleven days, from end of December to beginning of January. It includes Christmas and New Year's Day, so she and her family were very busy, but they accepted me and I followed them. It was beautiful time and I got a opportunity to meet their relatives, too. I was very happy to meet them. I saw a Christmas party and people gathering at church on Christmas Eve. It became my wonderful memories.
I can't speak English, so I could learn English from Teresa and her family. It is good for me to spend time with them. They know I can't speak English, so they heard me patiently. I appreciate so much for them. I'd like to visit again.
I did a home stay at Liz and Tony's house only for a week. But it was a wonderful time and a good experience for me. I was just a tourist, but even if I had any other reasons, I would choose their house. It is not far from central London but I could see a beautiful landscape from the window and in their town. They are very friendly and an open minded couple. I can't speak English, so I asked Liz for English lessons. But I got much more things than English from them. They are so valuable.
I ate delicious dinner every night and I got a good time. I felt I'd like to stay there forever.
By the way Tony likes animals. So you can see the wild foxes at night if you like. Just ask Tony.
I returned from my trip to Melbourne. I stayed with Joy and Owen for 1 week. I really enjoyed staying in their home. They were very helpful. I don’t speak English well and Joy offered English lessons. She taught me many new things in English and a memorable poem – “My Country” about Australia. I intend to memorise this before I would like to visit them again. Also with the transport they were very helpful in telling me about the trams and trains and Owen drove me to Chadstone which is 10 minutes away so I could shop. It was a great time and I would highly recommend for anyone to stay with them at their home. Oh and if you need any English lessons Joy is a great teacher and makes them fun.
