Queremos darle las gracias de todo corazón a Jorge y Nardy por su increíble hospitalidad, simpatía y por ayudarnos tanto en todo momento. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa, como si fuéramos parte de su familia, casi como hijos. Tanto en los buenos como en los malos momentos, siempre estuvieron ahí para apoyarnos. Además, las conversaciones compartiendo el cafetito en las mañanas fueron súper agradables y nos dejaron recuerdos muy especiales.

La casa además es bonita, la mantienen aseada y se encuentra en una zona tranquila, con fácil acceso a los colectivos para desplazarse a otras áreas. Si alguna vez volvemos a Cuba, sin duda elegiríamos su casa nuevamente. Recomendadísima al 100%.

Comment dire... incroyable! Notre venue à cuba n'aurais pas été pareil sans avoir fait la rencontre avec jorge, nardy y pavel! Tout était bien, l'emplacement, c'est dans le centre parfait pour tout les déplacements et on peux se rendre facilement dans le centre ancien même à pied. La maison était toute propre et bien équipée il y avais tout ce dont on avais besoin. Les petits déjeuner sont super bon avec des produits locaux, des fruits, du jus fait maison, super bons.
Pour finir sur la famille: Super accueillante, avec laquelle on peux discuter de tout avec un grand plaisir, sans voir passer le temps. Vous resterez nous meilleure rencontre de tout CUBA !
Vous pouvez réserver sans hésiter, je recommande vraiment les yeux fermés.

If you desire a life affirming experience in Havana I suggest you stay at the home of Jorge and Nardy. The accommodation is in an excellent location on Calle Neptuno. If you continue walking down the street you will arrive at the beautiful seafront. A couple of streets to the right will take you to some excellent places to eat, including a fabulous pizzeria that catered for my vegan requirements, and other cafes that supplied hot-dogs and chips etc. Travel to the left and you will be in the heart of the real Havana with all its vibrant street trading, music, and day to day living. Carry on and you’re in the main square where you can have a few drinks at the Hotel Inglaterre while people watching and meeting like-minded travellers and the wonderful locals.

Jorge’s home is immaculate. The rooms had ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, a fridge, and wi-fi. There were clean towels, and our rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. The main living area had a TV, cooking facilities and a small balcony where we could watch the street below as it filled with life. Being vegan, we did not have breakfast at Jorge's but we were constantly offered coffee and Jorge shared what he had with us.

Jorge offered lots of advice that helped us settle in, such as information regarding currency exchange rates, where to catch buses to the beach, which is a 30-minute ride from the centre, and much more. Jorge also contacted us before our stay with lots of useful advice. He arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and was not concerned that we were arriving at 1:30 in the morning. Our flight was delayed two hours, but our taxi was still waiting for us. Jorge had arranged for Pavel, a wonderful young man, to wait up for us and let us into the accommodation at 4:00 in the morning. Pavel stayed up every night to watch over the guests and be there should assistance be required.

At the end of our stay, our flight was cancelled as a category 3 hurricane was making its way to the island. Jorge came to find us to inform us of the news and to tell us that despite other clients being booked into our accommodation, he would take care of us. As the airport was shut, his clients didn’t arrive, so we stayed at his home. During this time, he tried to contact our airline and travel agent to help us arrange a different flight. When the hurricane hit, Jorge had to look after a friend, so he arranged for Pavel to stay. Jorge supplied food for us as everywhere was closed, which is an act of great kindness when one considers the food situation in Cuba for locals. The night of the hurricane the electric and wi-fi shut down. Although this was very scary, Pavel sat up with us and we talked about our life experiences and our different tastes in music and film. This made a very frightening experience somehow comforting. Jorge came back in the morning and went looking for a taxi to take us to the airport, as electricity and wi-fi were still down, and the area was devastated by the hurricane. He then sat at the door making sure the taxi arrived. These acts of kindness went beyond that of a host, and it is for this reason and many more that I recommend Jorge’s place, not just because it provides a great location and facilities, but because it also allows you to experience the authentic and beautiful spirit of the people of this island, and the genuine kindness they show to strangers on their shores.

Una estancia immejorable. Habitación en una zona tranquila relativamente cerca del centro. El alojamiento bonito, limpio y confortable con todas las comodidades necesarias para una estancia agradable. Desayunos deliciosos y la compañia de Jorge y Nardy indescriptible. Nos ayudaron des del mismo momento de la reserva, nos ayudaron a planificar nuestra ruta, nos recomendaron y aconsejaron en todo lo que pudieron y hicieron que nuestra estancia en Habana fuera immejorable. Repetiriamos y lo recomendamos sin duda! Un abrazo familia

Jorge y Nardy fueron encantadores y muy serviciales, tanto durante nuestra estancia en Cuba, como antes, resolviendo todas nuestras dudas por Whatsapp antes de viajar y programando desde allí nuestros traslados en la isla.

Fui con una amiga y nos alojamos en una de sus habitaciones, muy amplia, con baño privado y aire acondicionado; estuvimos muy cómodas, no nos faltó de nada. También incluimos la opción de desayuno, que eran muy completos y recién hechos, nos costaba acabarnoslos!

Recordamos con cariño todas las conversaciones que tuvimos con este matrimonio, del cual pudimos aprender mucho sobre la vida y costumbres de los cubanos. Si volviéramos al país, sin duda nos alojaríamos allí. Mil gracias por todo, os mandamos un fuerte abrazo!

Me quedé en esta casa por 21 días ¡Los anfitriones Nardy y Jorge me preguntaban todos los días si necesitaba algo! ¡Cuidan mucho a sus invitados para que no les falte de nada! ¡Tuve un desayuno maravilloso! La habitación está muy bien amueblada con aire acondicionado, TV, ¡tienes un precioso baño privado! La casa está ubicada en un barrio tranquilo. ¡Cerca hay tiendas, restaurantes baratos donde cocinan comida deliciosa! Además por las noches siempre hay una persona en la casa que, si lo necesitas, ¡te ayudará en cualquier cosa! ¡Recomiendo esta casa! ¡Gracias Nardy y Jorge por todo! ¡Sin ustedes, mis vacaciones en Cuba no hubieran sido tan agradables!
