This mansion from the early 20th century has been completely renovated and boasts six standard rooms plus one superior on the third and last floor, all of them air-conditioned, with their own bathroom, hot water, hair dryer, safe, and minibar.
The decoration and furniture are simple and with a vintage trend, with reminiscences of the 50s of the 20th century.
Its location is superb for the traveler who seeks to immerse himself in Old Havana while being close to all its historical and cultural attractions, saving his time, resources and energy to use them for what matters.
Eating well, without wasting time, is guaranteed. On the very street where Fresko Habana stands, there are five restaurants, one Lebanese next door, opposite the "5 Esquinas" trattoria, just a few steps away "Antojos", with a Cuban food menu, continuing towards the corner formed by the intersection with the Calle Chacón the beautiful "7 de Espada" and right on that corner the "Chacón 162" which is distinguished by its affable and casual atmosphere, its Harley Davidson cult decoration and its live rock concerts every Saturday night .
Other options are just a few minutes walk away, including the restaurants "Cha Cha Cha" and "Al Carbón".

Our hostel is located in Old Havana, in an area known as Barrio del Ángel (it owes its name to the Church of Santo Ángel Custodio, 50 meters away), just a few minutes walk from the Malecón, Paseo del Prado, the National Museum of Fine Arts, important hotels, restaurants and many other attractions.

House Rules
- All guests must be registered with their passport number.
- Guests who spend the night sharing a room must also be registered.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or in common areas. It can be done in the inner courtyard of the house.
- Valuables and cash must be kept in the safe that exists in each room. The house is not responsible for the loss of items left outside the safe deposit boxes.
- The cleaning and arrangement of rooms is done daily.
- The change of sheets is done every fourth day.
- Towels are changed every fourth day. If for any reason a towel change is desired before the fourth day, the pieces to be changed must be left on the bathroom floor.
- Guests will have a key to their room (1 key per room), which they can leave at reception when leaving the hostel if they wish.
- The loss of keys will lead to the payment of USD 20.00
- Guests can use the kitchen facilities of the house. The cleaning and ordering at the end of the use of the kitchen is appreciated.
- The use of the terrace on the top floor is exclusively for guests of the superior room.
- The house has a washer and dryer. Laundry services must be coordinated with the reception and paid independently.
- The consumption of items from the minibar in the rooms must be paid for independently.

Alojamiento nuevo en una localización muy buena en La Habana Vieja, cerca de restaurantes y de los principales lugares a visitar. Las habitaciones no tienen ventana y se escucha ruido en general, pero tienen baño privado y nevera. La atención de Gisele fue buena y de una de las recepcionistas también, sin embargo, hubo dos noches que apenas pudimos dormir porque el recepcionista estuvo de fiesta pasadas las 4 de la madrugada (aunque le dijimos que por favor tuvieran en cuenta que queríamos descansar). Esto hizo que nos lleváramos una mala impresión.

El alojamiento es adecuado, muy bien situado en La Habana Vieja y con posibilidad de cambiar pesos allí. No obstante las habitaciones no tienen ventana y los precios del minibar son un poco altos, aunque tiene aire acondicionado. Las camas sonaban mucho y no hay armario.
Una de las trabajadoras, Samanta, fue muy amable con nosotras, ayudándonos a cambiar dinero un día que no tenían suficiente para hacernos el cambio y ofreciéndonos algún café o poder utilizar la cocina para preparar nuestro desayuno.January 2024
We had a wonderful stay at the hostel. We didn’t meet Gisel, Samantha was the person we had the most contact with. She was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the lovely neighborhood, that felt central but also cozy. The only thing that could be improved is the WiFi, that stopped working several times a day.

Nuestra estancia ha sido muy agradable. Todas y cada una de las personas que trabajan aquí han sido muy agradables y atentas. Además es un lugar bien situado y con variedad de sitios para comer y tomar algo muy cercanos.

Estamos encantados de habernos hospedado el establecimiento de Gisel. El sitio está muy bien cuidado, tiene todo los necesarios, está en plena Habana vieja y en una calle muy bonita y con sitios buenos donde poder comer o tomarse algo. Pero lo mejor ha sido todo el equipo de gente que han trabajado para tenernos en palmitas y ayudarnos con todo lo que hemos necesitado. Mil gracias Abel, Samantha, Martín y Fran!!!

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
