My house is located in the Playa municipality. It is a very nice place. It is 500 m from the 5th. Ave. de Miramar and 700 m from the coast.
My house was built in the first half of the 20th century, it maintains its original style except for the kitchen, which was completely modernized. It's nice, wide. It has five rooms, of which I rent a single room that is located in the backyard. This room has direct access from the street and a small staircase to reach it.
The backyard of the house is very cozy. In the patio you can sunbathe, sit down to talk, and also have breakfast.
Around the house there are all kinds of services: currency exchange, three banks, fruit and vegetable market, shopping centers, excellent restaurants and cafeterias of different price levels, spas, gyms, and beauty salons. Also quality bakeries and candy stores. Clinic and international pharmacies. Not far from the house there are night clubs, art galleries, the largest theater in Havana, the Casa de la Música de Miramar, the Cuban Art Factory (FAC) which is the most up-to-date place in both national and international art and music. . In Miramar you can find most of the foreign embassies such as Canada, Great Britain, Sweden, the Netherlands and many others. 400m. from the house is the Sprachcaffe Spanish Language School Havana.
There are various forms of transportation to other parts of the city such as the Historic Center and Vedado. There are local buses, air-conditioned minibuses, collective taxis.
I speak Spanish, English and French.

About the Area
The house is located 500 m. of the 5th Avenida de Miramar, in a very pleasant environment. It is close to many embassies (Canada, Great Britain, Argentina, Sweden, Mexico, Switzerland and others), excellent restaurants and quality shopping centers. It is also close to other facilities such as theaters, art galleries, Casa de la Música de Miramar, Cuban Art Factory (FAC), jazz café, international clinic, banks. The Sprachcaffe Spanish Language School Havana is 400 meters from the house. i.
VERY IMPORTANT: At 300 m. from the house you can take the air-conditioned minibuses that go to the center of the city, the local buses and collective taxis. 200 m. from the house passes the Havana Bus Tour, a bus service that goes from one end of the city to the other. The price is $ 10 CUC per person / day and you can go up and down at different important points during the tour. They operate from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., every day. In this way you can enjoy a pleasant and quality accommodation and at the same time move easily to many places of historical and cultural interest.

Lilleam is a very good host. She knows her neighborhood well. She knows Havana well.
The location is wonderful. 10 walking distance from the house is a farmers market with fresh ripe fruits, 2 bakeries, many restaurants; the tourist bus ($10 per day pass) is also 2 block away, but you will need to flag it; Casa de Musica Miramar is about 15 min walking distance and it has concerts every night.
The house is decorated like Hermitage, clean, pleasant. The street is quiet. Miramar is best place to stay in Havana.July 2019
Lilleam was the perfect host and we had a great time in Havana. The apartment is a taxi ride away from the old city (about 5-10$/ 10-15min) in a quiet residential neighborhood. Both rooms we had were super clean, had an AC and their own bathroom. Lilleam speaks great English, was very helpful (when arranging cars to the bus station/ airport etc.) and it was a pleasure to be able to stay at her house. We would definitely stay with her again next time we are in Havana.

I had the most wonderful stay at Lilleam's Casa. Lillean is the perfect hostess, she is very worldly and speaks several languages well. She was helpful in telling me about Cuban history, Cuban arts and more. I was able to easily get around Havana and chose other fantastic cities, to visit, in Cuba due to her guidance.
Breakfasts prepared by Nani were wholesome and wonderful. I recommend Lilleam, her Casa ..as well as the Playa area. Good economical restaurants, shopping , bus and taxi service. I stayed in the little upstairs room off the garden patio area..What a lovely solitary beautiful space'

Lilleam was the perfect combination of being available for help if I needed, and leaving me to do my own thing. Her casa is in a quiet neighbourhood with a couple small restaurants nearby. Lilliam told me how to get around the neighborhood and gave me very good instructions on how to take the local bus to Old Havana. My room was perfect. It was very simple but had everything that one would need. Her helper, Nana made a delicious breakfast for only 3CUC. I was traveling alone, and for I retired lady it was just perfect I recommend Lilleam's Casa for singles who want to be quiet, as well as for couples and Families. Thank you lilleam!

Je recommande vivement la maison de Lilleam. Situé dans un quartier très calme et proche de tout. La chambre est agréable et bien équipé (salle de bain, frigo, télé...). Lilleam est disponible et très accueillante, j’ai passée un agréable séjour ! À bientôt

Lilleam is a very nice people and hospitable, and she will support you for all you need: touristic points information, directions, tips, etc. Simple, safe and quiet place, next to a few commerce, restaurants, exchange, and tourist bus to access the Plaza Central, makes a pleasant stay.

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
