"Casa Canda", is a hostel in the heart of old Havana, with an excellent location, a few meters from the bay of Havana, Havana boardwalk, fairs, squares, restaurants and other attractions, built in the 20s, its owner It has maintained its high architectural values, as well as the comfort in its three rooms, it has natural ventilation and air conditioning (Split and fans), private bathroom with hot water, full access to the rest of the house, exclusively for guests: living room, dining room, balcony terrace to the outside, overlooking the street and the sea of the Bay with its Alameda de Paula.
Services not included in rental price (USD or Euros)
- Optional breakfast includes: Coffee, natural fruit juices, chopped pieces of fruit (in season) and salads, bread, jam, honey, egg (in the chosen variety),
-Daily cleaning service: Change of towels and bedding every other day or according to the client's needs.
- Organization of tourist stays in other cities on the island (Viñales, Varadero, Santa Clara, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, among others) guaranteeing a happy stay and affordable price.
Other Services, not included in the price of the rooms: 1 for $25.00 euros or dollars, and 2 and 3 for $30.00 dollars or euros):
- Taxi service.

House Rules
Rules of the house: The house reserves the right of admission. Only those who duly booked through official channels can be a guest, for example this page, it is not allowed to add clients to the room that are not properly coordinated and reserved with the host. For your safety the hostel has, in addition to its administrative team and customer service, a 24-hour security staff, who will ensure the security standards of the hostel and its guests.

Alejandro y su esposa fueron bien amable con nosotros. El lugar esta muy bien hubicado, muy limpio y cómodo. Se lo recomiendo. Será un placer regresar en otra ocasión.

Our stay at Casa Canda was great! Alejandro and Mary are really nice people. They'll help you with booking other casa's and transportation. And Alejandro speaks English very well! The casa is clean, beautiful and centrally located. The breakfast is delicious. I would recommend Casa Canda to everyone!

we stayed in this casa in Havana for 1 night, and rebooked it for the night before our return home. We were warmly welcomed by Pilar, the caretaker, and later on Mery and Alejandro, William's parents who actually run the casa. Mery and Alejandro speak quite good English, which is great, and they were of great help in booking good casa's in other places that we wanted to visit. We can certainly recommend this casa!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
