Hi, I'm Elisa, I live in Madrid and I'm helping my mom with hosting. She has a cute apartment with a room available for 1 or 2. In case you are more than 2 we have place for up to 10 people in nearby houses. Ask for information.
We offer free light breakfast for every person in the booking and every morning at the time of your preferral. If you would like a complete cuban breakfast we also offer it with the cost of 5 CUC. Cuban meals for 10 CUC are also an additional possibility.
The apartment is located in Nuevo Vedado, a quiet and safe area, 20 min by bus from Old Havana, the Historical Center and with many gastronomic and leisure offerings nearby. Taxi station from where you can go to other places of interest: Viñales, Trinidad, Varadero, etc., is 5 minutes away by walk.
We have private taxis contacts if you wish to travel somewhere, for economic prices. There are shared taxis to travel to Viñales, Varadero, Trinidad, etc. And also private taxis to return to the airport.
Our place is close to beautiful natural sites, like Havana Forest and Almendares River.
Very close to the Revolution Square, the National Library, Camilo and Che memorial, and the Jose Marti memorial, in which there is a viewpoint from where you will see the whole city and the sea.
Near our place is the National Zoo.
A few minutes walking or 1 bus stop is the Fabric of Cuban Art (FAC), a multicultural site where you will not only find parties of different atmospheres, but also chill-out areas, a cinema, art exhibitions and concerts.
On the neighborhood there are a few places with WiFi connection, the closest is 230mts away.
Close to numerous supermarkets.
Our home is open for you, the room has its own private bathroom and access to the kitchen, living-diningroom and terrace.
If you rent a car, there is plenty of space in the street for free parking.

About the Area
The apartment is located in Nuevo Vedado, a quiet and safe area. The bus stops are very close to the accommodation, both to go to Old Havana, the historic district, and to go to the beach on the East. We are close to beautiful natural sites, like the Havana Forest. Close to touristic places like the Revolution Square, the National Library, Che and Camilo memorial and Jose Marti Memorial, which also has a beautiful viewpoint from where you can see the city and the sea. Close to numerous supermarkets. Close to the neighborhood are several restaurants, both luxury and cheap ones, and also places to have a drink and dance. A very famous one is the Fabric of Cuban Art, a multicultural space, known as FAC. There are parks nearby and also a movie theather. The hospital is 10 min. away walking There are WiFi zones nearby (230mts away). There is also a Spa, a beauty center and a gym nearby, if you want we can book an appointment in your name.

Me and my daughter had a nice stay in Mary's appartment. Clean, close to public transport and the Zoo of Havana.

Mary is the best host! She is friendly, helpful and knows a lot about Havanna and cuban culture. The area of her flat is perfect as you get away from the busiest of Havannah, but can still get there with the well-connected and cheap bus. She helped me a lot with organizing the rest of my trip in a safe and economic way using her network. The apartment and room is lovely and clean and the breakfast is good! Muchas gracias Mary!

When you've just travelled half way across the world to Cuba, and you're getting on the bus the very next morning, this is the place to stay. I got such a warm welcome. Travelling alone I felt completely safe. Many thanks to Mary for making me a lovely home cooked meal too. The room was nice and clean and the apartment is very cute. This feels like a most authentic homestay and not a professional air bnb. I loved it.

Excellent accueil avec un bon cafe chez la maman d Élisa! Attentionnée et quel délicieux repas! Elle m a accompagnée dans mes premiers pas à la Havane veillant sur moi...elle est ouverte sympa et habite à 2 pas de la station viazul un quartier agréable et une grande belle chambre! TB!

Staying at Mary's house is like staying at home. I highly recommend this house for the great availability of Elisa who gave us all the necessary information and the sweet breakfasts of Mary who pampered us like a mother

Alles sehr nett, der Raum ist allerdings sehr einfach. Gute Lage zur Viazul-Station und zum Zoo.

Super accueil. Notre hôte nous a très bien accueilli. Logement bien situé, à 5mn de la gare de bus Viazul, et pas loin du centre ville. Quartier calme. Petit déjeuner copieux servi avec le sourire. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner.

How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. When can I share my contact details?
