Our house has six bedrooms. Each room has a private bathroom. The house is near the Malecon Also, University of Havana, and the Wi-Fi close-by park. Also Taxi service is available and we can pick up at the airport.
My house is located in Havana Center Which Means Between Old Havana and Vedado. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom each.
All guests have access to common areas and first floor hallway, dining room, living room area on the second floor. There is a small area where Wi-Fi is available.
We are four people living in-house: Maria del Carmen (my mother), Fidel (my father), Sabrina (my daughter) and me, Lorena.We also have the help of a neighbor (who does not live on the property) . Please do not hesitate to talk to us at any time of day or night if you need something. Our family is open and we like to share with everyone. Please note that there may be other guests while you stay.
Check in / out: We have Implemented the check in time after 2:00 pm and check out at 12:00 pm. If you need to leave later, please note that if you need to tell us in advance and we are not responsible for bags that are out of the rooms. Also, if you decide to stay after check-out time, do not use of shower will be allowed.
Imortant NOTICE: The breakfast included in the rate is LIMITED to coffee, bread and jams.But, the guests will be offered the choice of a more varied breakfast for a nominal fee of 4:00 CUC per person.
Casa Lorena and Fidel is in a quiet area with low incidence of crime because frequent police presence.Centro Habana is the most populated municipality of Havana and Cuba, so sometimes you can see people on the street more than anywhere else.Places of interest around the House are:
Closed: 15 minute walk (5 minutes by cab or private transport)
Beach Municipality: 20 minute walk (8 minutes by cab or private transport)
Old Havana: 30 minutes walk (15 minutes by cab or private transport)

Our House offers four rooms. Only Spanish is spoken at home. The house has recently been remodeled (Guests part). Another detail is that my parents drive state taxis (Mini Vans), so we can help with transportation upon request.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The WI-FI is available at home at times; But there is a close by Park where full Wi-Fi is always available. To access You have to buy a card (2.5.10 CUC) Guarantees A Certain amount of minutes.
Please note that we will try to answer your questions in the shortest possible time; But keep in mind that connection at times is not the most efficient one, so we ask you for little patience when we are unable to reply back within one hour after receiving your message.

The rules Have we at home are: 1- No smoking inside the rooms (there are outdoor areas Several guests can fumar.2- 3- Where Pets are not allowed No misconduct be allowed With other guests or members of our family ..
4-Check-in is after 1:00 pm, Check-out before 12:00 pm. If you need late check -out Please contact us beforehand. Be Informed That we will allow the late check outs only if you agree on removing your bags to another room and you will need a bathroom to shower.

I don’t know where to start we had such a wonderful time at Lorena house. She and her family were so warm, welcoming and helpful in providing us with tips and things to do and also arranging taxi for our next casa. The house is sparkling clean and the breakfast delicious. Lorena mum is for sure the person who made our stay unforgettable and I give her a 10 ⭐️ Star. Thanks very much

We had a fantastic time staying with Lorena and her family. They were all very welcoming, attentive and helpful, organising taxis and providing us with directions to the sights. The house was perfectly clean and our room was cleaned daily. The breakfasts were scrumptious with a wide variety of fruit and preserves. I would highly recommend staying with Lorena to anyone visiting Havana. Thank you, Lorena and family!

Lorena’s place was the best Casa we had in Cuba she help us organize our whole trip around Cuba we told her where we wanted to go and she set it all up for us.We were a family of three and looked at doing a tour which would have cost us 3 times as much . Sometimes u share the taxis with others. Lorena’s Casa is a few kilometres out of Old Havana but we didn’t mind the walk or u can catch a cab for a few bucks.One thing she is renovating at the moment so the front is a little bit of a mess but u will be happy when u get inside .ps her mother Maria makes a great omelet

Una casa muy bien ubicada en la Habana cerca del centro historico y habitaciones nuevas y modernas y limpias. Lorena y su madre son personas muy amables y gentiles que hicieron todo para hacer de nuestra estancia una fiesta : un desayuno estupende ! y muchas informaciones ! Muchas gracias por todo !!! Un séjour parfait avec des cubains adorables et gentils ! A recommander pour être près de tout et profiter d'un hébergement de haute qualité rare chez l'habitant ! Bravo !

Molto cordiali e disponibili, la colazione è ottima con materie prime di qualità, la posizione è abbastanza centrale, a 3 km dal centro, con 3/4 CUC di taxi ci si arriva in 5 minuti. Complimenti alle marmellate a alle frittate di Maria (la mamma). Unica pecca: l'altezza delle stanze, sarà 220 - 230. Il quartiere è tra i migliori a livello di tranquillità e sicurezza.

Wir waren 12 Tage in dieser Casa und sehr begeistert. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, die Marmelade und der Saft unvergessen. Auf Sauberkeit im Zimmer sowie im Bad wurde sehr großen Wert gelegt, wodurch man sich sehr wohlfühlte.
Jeder wurde respektvoll behandelt und Kinder sind in dieser Casa wie auch in ganz Kuba sehr willkommen.
Lorena und Ihre Familie sind das beste Beispiel für Gastfreundschaft. Danke für alles.

Estábamos 12 días en esta casa y muy encantados. El desayuno era delicioso, la mermelada y jugo no lo vamos a olvidal.
La limpieza en la habitación y en el baño estaba muy bien nos sentimos muy cómodo.
Cada uno fue tratado con respeto y los niños son muy bienvenidos en esta casa como en toda Cuba.

We stayed 12 days in this Casa and loved it. The breakfast was very tasty, the jam and the juice unforgettable. On cleanliness in the room as well as in the bathroom was very important, which made you very comfortable.
Everyone has been treated with respect and children are very welcome in this Casa as well as in the whole of Cuba.

Lorena and her mother Maria made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay in their home in Havana.
This is a family business with her father driving the taxi for day trips.
The food was excellent and the rooms very comfortable.
Maria went out of her way to make us feel at home.
Lorena made very patient attempts to communicate with us at all times as our Spanish was non existent!
The home is undergoing a major renovation in the front entrance sitting room and dining area. We ate in the kitchen which was a hive of activity with helpers and other guests coming and going. Great location for experiencing Havana with good resturants nearby and only a 20+ minute walk to the esplanade.Host reply

As an other guest mentioned, don't let the outside of the buildings fool you. Beautiful inside, totally remodeled with tile work throughout. Family was very nice, breakfast delicious. Unfortunate we only stayed one night.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
