Hello dear guests and welcome to our humble home. We are renting beautiful rooms and two brand new studio-apartments in a small but colorful place called Župa dubrovačka.
Župa dubrovačka is very near the beautiful city of Dubrovnik, the distance is only 7 km, and it has its advantages including a beautiful clean sea, many beautiful beaches, is not as crowded, and above all it is a lot cheaper accommodation than you will find in Dubrovnik. Župa dubrovačka is also near a beautiful small city called Cavtat (8 km) that has its own historical beauty. Župa dubrovačka, with its shallow beaches and beautifully landscaped promenades is the perfect place for all ages. Experience the Mediterranean as it used to be on one of the world's cleanest and most beautiful seas. You will like it here, I am sure!
Rooms have their private bathroom (for some the bathroom is inside of the room and for the others it is located first door next to the rom) and one of this three rooms has it's private balcony. Studio apartments have a private kitchen and private bathroom inside of the room.
We have one big shared kitchen for our guests that are staying in our rooms, but please note that this is a shared kitchen and everyone should have a chance to use it and that means that the kitchen is there for You to prepare only some simple meals.
Our house also has two big terraces that every one can use. One big terrace is covered with natural shade while the other one can be used for a great view on the place and catching some sun because only one part is cowered with shade.
During your stay in our rooms you can expect a clean room, clean sheets and towels that are often changed by your pleasant hosts. When you arrive you will be welcomed and you will receive your keys, WiFi password and someone will show you your room, kitchen and terraces. You can also expect to receive all the information you need and when ever you need them. My family lives in the house and you can always ask them everything and you can always write to me.
Our house is in great location. Why? Well first of all there are no uphills and stairs from our house to the nearest beaches that are only 700 meters from our house. That is very important because sometimes 200 meters from the sea means a lot more than 700. The second reason is that you have all that you need in a 700 meter circle from our house. For example:
- There are excellent restaurants nearby - only 150 meters from us;
- Ambulance is 100 meters from our house (we do hope you will not need it but it is nice to know it is there);
- Cafe bars - 700 meters (the bars are located next to the beaches but there is also one cafe bar only 100 meters from our home );
- Brand new shopping center just opened only 350 meters from our home with a big supermarket inside and with some world famous stores like H&M, DM, Muller and so on. Also a smal private store is around the corner - 100 meters from us;
- The bus station is only 100 meters from our house and there is another one 300 meters away;
- Gas station: 400 meters
- Post office: 200 meters
- Bank: 400 meters
- Bakery: 150 meters
- ATM: 300 meters
- Pharmacy: 350 meters
Once you arrive and do not forget we are there for our guests at all times. What ever You need You can ask us and we will try to make your staying here as pleasant as possible.
The best thing about our place are the beaches. There are so many beaches here that I am sure you will find one that suits you. Near our place there are two city's You should visit, one is Dubrovnik and the other one is Cavtat. You should also visit the islands in this area and the Ston and it's walls.
We are very well connected with Dubrovnik and with Cavtat with public transportation and bus stations are only 100 meters from our house. There is a bus every 20-30 minutes and it takes him 15-20 minutes to reach the city. The ticket for one person in one direction is 18,00 kunas (Croatian currency) and that is around 2,20 € or 3,0 $. Bus numbers you can use to reach Dubrovnik and to come back to our home are No. 10 and No. 16. If You are arriving from the airport please mention this in Your message and I will explain to You all the options there are.
Please note that breakfast is not included in the price. The price of breakfast is 6,00 € per person. Also if you need transfer feel free to ask me before you decide to order a taxi. Also I can help you if you need a car rental.
The price for accommodation is not fixed. We will give you a discount for a longer stay and we will charge little bit more if you stay for only 1, 2 or 3 nights. Contact us and check your price.

About the Area
Dubrovnik Riviera extends from the delta of the Neretva River to Cape Ostro in the south of Croatia. The specificity of this area is that it is interrupted by the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, for which a passport is required.
It is divided into two parts: the lower Neretva valley, which has a natural connection with the Croatian inland and the narrow coastal area at the foot of Dinara massif with several islands, the most important of which are Korcula, Mljet and Lastovo Elafiti group.
The coast is dotted with bays, sandy beaches of exotic beauty, steep cliffs exposed to the open sea and numerous forested islands, where towns and cities coalesced , ennobled by human life. Dense vegetation dominated by cypress, pines, olive trees, vineyards, lemon and orange plantations, palm trees, agaves and cacti create a special atmosphere of the Mediterranean.
Characteristics of a turbulent past have left many traces of sovereignty and of naval forces so the Dubrovnik Riviera is abundant in places with a long historical memory, cultural and natural heritage as well as Renaissance cottages built in the sea coves surrounded by gardens and parks. There are historic towns as well: Dubrovnik- The pearl of the Mediterranean, Korcula and Ston and prominent settlements merged into carefully nurtured landscapes; Cavtat, Lopud, Trsteno, Slano, Mali Ston, Orebi?, Lastovo… Many natural phenomena in the Dubrovnik Riviera will leave every visitor breathless : plateau Rudine, Majkova valleys, Ston fields, Ombla as the spring of the longest rivers in Europe, the National Park of Mljet with its lakes and the Lokrum Reserve ...tourist offer in Dubrovnik Riviera will meet the expectations of very demanding visitors.
The most scenic village in the beautiful Župa park is Mlini that has its own sea and the small river of Zavrelje, shallow pebble beaches and protected bays, flower filled gardens and paths, hotels, rivers and summer residences. Mlini used to be the ancient historical settlement Molina. This was the centre of the milling trade, and a long time ago it was often mentioned because before the water system was built water was taken from here to Dubrovnik...
Milini is a small village located in the Župa Bay, 7 km from the city of Dubrovnik, and about 11 km from the ?ilipi Dubrovnik airport. The numerous water springs resulting in the construction of mills, Mlini was once the main place of miller trades, hence the place name ('Mlini' means 'Mills').
Mlini is not the place for a memorable night out, although it offers a large selection of cafes, bars and restaurants. If you are looking for accommodation in a quieter tourist destination but still wish to be located in the vicinity of Dubrovnik, we recommend Mlini. This beautiful picturesque place near Dubrovnik offers you enjoyment in the Mediterranean vegetation and long walks that will take you to the neighboring places.
Mlini offers the most beautiful Dubrovnik beaches for swimming and snorkeling, one of these being sandy, a rarity in the Dubrovnik area. There is also a nudist beach in the area which can be reached by boat in 5 minutes. This small pebble naturist beach has a restaurant, showers and possibility of parasols and deck chairs rental.

House Rules
Dear guests, here are our rules:
1. We expect that you are responsible for the damage you make to the room (if it comes to that).
2. Please respect the late hours for other guests and neighbors.
3. Please leave the kitchen clean after each use because other guests will use it after you do. Also please note that the kitchen is only for simple use which means no long complicated cooking so everyone has the chance to use it.
4. We expect that you have a nice time!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
