We are a family with one small friendly dog. Our home is large and we have 2 bedroom options both with closet and desk. Our home is close to downtown and all public transport. 5 min walk to bus stops and 10min to UBC. Prefer female guests please. please enquire as to which room is available.

I am not gonna write an epistle for this Homestay but I’m just gonna say this.. I had booked Maria’s place for 3 weeks, but ended up staying 3 months! The Proust House is all shade of amazing.. loved loved loved my time here, plus Maria’s left over fancy dishes from her fancy dinners with friends and family .. Xoxo Peggy

Maria is kind and warm-hearted, and her house is located in a tranquil neighborhood which is convenient to bus station, save-on-food, UBC(the new mayor of Vancouver was graduated from it) and so on.
I extremely recommend you who is looking for the room to be Maria’s tenant, because it will be a nice experience.October 2022

The supermarket and bus stop was close to the home, and the neighborhood was quiet and full of nature. The house was beautiful, and Maria and her family were welcoming, kind, and respectful. I felt like a part of the family immediately after I arrived at the house, and I think I was very fortunate to stay here. It was a perfect stay!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
