About the Homestay
We are a family of two and our home is in a very quiet residential neighborhood, it's safe and very friendly. People who looks out for each others. We are a Canadian and Caribbean mix family, we enjoy cooking baking and experimenting with food and drinks, and also very opened minded. We love trying different cultures food and learning about different cultures at the same time. We are a fairly active family who enjoys the outdoors. Staying at our home , you will never feel home sick. So welcome

- From time to time, E. (Diane’s friend) shared some food with us.

Diane is a cold and distant person. We are open minded people and we understand that her job was very tiring and that we were not her friends, just roommates. Nonetheless, we really felt like she talked to us mostly out of her interest.
By the end of our rental, we had to go back as soon as possible to France because of a tragic event in my family and we had to sell the car quickly. However they tried to take advantage of the situation and negotiate. We were open to the negotiation but every time we accepted their new offer, they found new excuses to get it even cheaper. We really thought that they were going to buy it and instead of saving time, we lost valuable time and money because we were not refunded for the rest of the month.
Eventually, my boyfriend had to stay longer and I had to go back to France alone. Because of them, he missed my father’s funerals.
Unfortunately, they did not have the Canadian’s state of mind.
The place was great, thanks to Dianne and her family.
She was amazing, plus we had lots in common! I fell in love with her sweet cat Chelsey! I never had my own cats sleep beside me the entire nights! ❤ I'll deffinetly be back!

I stayed at with Dianne for about a month. Dianne is really a friendly and polite person though through her job she's oftenly not at home, so it's not gonna be a stay with that much interaction between you and the host. The home is beautiful, so is the neighborhood! Everything is quite easily to reach e.g. a small shopping mall or bus stations. I really liked it here, but wished some more "family time" with the host to learn some more about the country and to improve my English.

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
