We are opening our home by offering room accommodations on the main floor and in the basement to International students and Travelers (guests).
If you are looking for a nice and clean place for your stay, this home is for you..
We provide all the basic needs that guests will have the access to use for their daily routine to save time and budget.
Our residence is conveniently located near Centennial College (Morningside, Progress, and Eglinton Campus) and the University of Toronto Scarborough. We are situated at the intersection of Kingston and Lawrence, where you'll find a variety of shops and dining options within easy reach. There are several bus routes accessible within a 2-minute walk.
Our neighborhood boasts the presence of major banks, supermarkets, shopping centers, and a Cineplex movie theatre, making it a convenient and peaceful area for visitors. We aim to create a respectful and harmonious atmosphere for all.
Our private room is fully furnished and welcomes NON-SMOKERS only. Given that most of our family members are males, we primarily seek to host male guests. Our priority is to support newcomers to this country, so we are specifically looking for international homestay students and international professors with a mature and respectful demeanor.

We are available for interaction and can offer advice when needed. We also respect your need for personal space, as our priority is to make every guest feel at home comfortably.
We treat everyone equally and as a member of the family. We expect mutual respect and a clean environment, as we hold our home space in high regard.
Please note that all guests must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination upon arrival.
To ensure safety and security, we require picture ID and photos on your profile and copies of the IDS of guests upon your arrival for our records.
Keys and security deposit of $50 will be collected upon arrival and will be refunded upon return of keys and in the absence of any damages during departure.

About the Area
Our house is located on the intersection of Morningside and Kingston. We live in a nice, peaceful and a quite neighbourhood.
We are a 3 minute walk to local bus stops that travel straight to kennedy station and the Go Transit. The School near us are Centennial College and University Of Toronto Scarborough.

1. Bathrooms and showers are on each floor.
2. Get fast internet with Free Bell 5G UNLIMITED WI-FI, up to 3 Gbps.
3. Hydro, heating, cooling, and water are included.
4. Free laundry once/week (washer & dryer provided, no detergent).
5. Free parking available.
6. Leave outdoor shoes at the door.
7. No Guests, visitors and events are not allowed for privacy and security purposes.
8. Only plain water is allowed in the rooms to maintain fresh and clean environment.
9. No drugs or alcohol allowed.
10. No smoking or vaping to consider allergies.
11. Keep shared spaces clean.
12. Enjoy the backyard together.
13. Kitchen can be used for light meals; no heavy cooking. Fridge, microwave, small oven, toaster, kettle, and kitchenware provided.

Palmy is wonderful and helpful. I learned a lot from her about adapting to life in Toronto. The house is well organized, everything is in its place. What struck me most was the cleanliness. It is also fair to say that those I found there were respectful and friendly. The environment is serene and calm. Thank you Palmy for this good stay

My stay at Palmy's homestay was simply delightful! Right from the start, her warmth and thoughtfulness made me feel incredibly welcome. The place was spotless and incredibly well-organized.
What really impressed me was Palmy's genuine care for her guests. She didn't just ensure the place was clean and cozy; she went out of her way to make sure I felt at home. Palmy offered fantastic advice about the area, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Palmy's hospitality was exceptional. Her kindness and meticulous hosting made my time there truly special. I didn't feel like just a guest; I felt like a valued friend.

So for now everything is good. I have recently moved to a new room thanks to Palmy and i love it.

Palmy does her level best to maintain the cleanliness of the house and to make sure all her guests are happy with their stay.
The room was immaculate and fully equipped with the basics. During my stay, Palmy ensured all my needs were taken care of. For eg: I asked for a bigger blanket and got one right away.
Additionally, Palmy goes above and beyond to help out the guests staying with her and does things like making extra food for everyone.
Pros: The house is clean and the house guests are all friendly creating a home-like environment.
Cons: There are some house rules you have to follow (but honestly, this all-male house wouldn’t be so clean and if it wasn’t for those rules).I am very happy with my experience and I would highly recommend Palmy’s house.

I spent almost 4 months here and Palmy was a great host who always made me feel at home and was very helpful! Palmy and her family are really nice and welcoming, the house is always clean and neat and everyone living in the house is very respectful. The home has a great location, really close to transportation, UTSC, Centennial College, and 3 blocks away from several supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores. I had a great experience here and definitely recommend it!

Mrs. Palmy's house was without a doubt the best experience I could have when I arrived in Canada, I don't think I would have found a better experience. a very nice person, along with his whole family, besides being helpful and helping me many times, not to mention how clean everything is always. I would definitely like to return to this place

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
