I am a 35 year old married working professional living with my partner in a neatly fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment with lots of sunshine and air in the heart of downtown Amsterdam. The apartment has a huge patio attached to the bed room and is on the 2nd Floor. The living room is warm and cozy and can comfortably sleep 1 person. It also has the most awesome canal views. From here you can walk to all major attractions that Amsterdam has to offer. For ex -

3. Daam Square - 10 min walk
4. Harlemestraat Cafes Restuarants Shopping- 1 min walk
5. WesterPark - 15 min
6. IJ River and Film Museum - 10 min by Ferry
7. Anne Frank Huis - 15 min walk

The apartment is right in the heart of Amsterdan, There are plenty of coffee shops, yoga places, gyms, restaurants and organic markets in the area. The best part is Amsterdam Centraal Station which is just 5 min away. From here you can take a tram to anyplace in Amsterdam or trains to almost every city in Holland
I offer the living room to my guests which has 1 single bed with memory foam mattress :) The Sofa can also extend to a comfortable bed for 1 person. There is a washroom that is fully equipped with toiletries, hair dryer, towels and rain head shower. The kitchen is also fully equipped and can be used by my guests at all times
I speak fluent English along with Hindi and Bengali and live in the apartment with my adorable husband Sachin. Both of us are working professionals and would be busy at work 9-5 and at times i work from home as well..However we are avid travelers and have lived in several cities before zeroing on Amsterdam:) I love to meet fellow travelers and people from all over the world. Its fascinating to make new friends from all over, learn about their cultures, food, way of life and soo many interesting aspects. I am into movies, TV shows, Netflix, Documentaries and also health :) I like to run as often as i can and go to the Gym 3-4 times a week.
My goal here is to offer my guests a slice of my life and culture and make them a part of my family :) When they live with me i want them to feel at home at all times and make sure they are always comfortable

Was nice staying at her place. A very warm and receptive couple to be with.

Paromita and her husband were by far the best hosts I have ever had! They felt like friends almost instantly.
Their apartment is ideally located just a few minutes walk from the central train station, overlooking a nice canal, and I could sleep so well on their mattress, with no noise at all in the night. The whole place is nicely decorated in an Indian way, and is very clean.
I highly recommend Paromita to any person looking to stay in Amsterdam.May 2019
Paromita was a very thoughtful host at all levels. The house was beautifully ready when I arrived, clean, warm and the bed was very comfortable. They made me feel at home. The house is in an excellent location in the most beautiful neighbourhood in Amsterdam.

Perfect location. The apartment is cozy and clean, and Paromita is such a nice host who is always willing to help.
March 2018
The location itself is fantastic and the accommodation was just as described, but what made the stay actually great is the host herself. Paromita is very friendly and helped me settle into my life in Toronto a lot - giving me pointers on where to go, what to do, when to do it etc. 100% will recommend. 100% would stay again.
