I live in a beautiful Triplex Building, in a quiet leafy suburb area of Montreal Megacity. I have 1 fully equipped bedroom for guests in my home.
My house is built with red bricks and beautiful wide opened windows.
It has one bathroom, one fully equipped kitchen , a large sitting room with TV and internet access. The House has balcony, where to taste exotic Barbecue.
I also speak French.

My house is located in Lasalle- Lachine ( South-West of Montreal), HWY 20 and Victoria Blvd , on HWY 20 at 5 minutes from Montreal International Airport.
The environment is very clean & well-maintained & Beautiful House.
The transportation is great, 10 minutes driving from downtown, and 10 minutes to the Metro Station. Public Transportations are cross the Street.
The area is full of trendy restaurants, coffee shops, as well as 2 big fitness centres and 2 big shopping malls.
My home is located 5 minutes walk to the Saint Laurent River & Lachine Canal.

The guest pays a 15% deposit of the accommodation total to homestay.com to confirm booking.
As a host, ll receive the outstanding amount directly from the guest either in advance by Money transfert via my Bank, or in cash on arrival.
Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% deposit is paid to Homestay.com).
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.”

Veneranda is a smart host and it was very kind of her to offer me a ride to the airport. The apartment is very close to the airport, but nevertheless a calm place to stay

By the way you knew that I have a mother and 2 kids in the Sun-set room as guest! The small kid is 2 and 7 months years old .
As a mother myself it is impossible to keep a baby calm anyway!

You don't know how pleased I was waiting to host you on August 14-15, 2022. Then, no news until the night! I understand sometimes program can be changed , but an open communication should be effective between the host and the visitor.

I was not expecting to be sleeping in her living room, she gave a misleading presentation of the sleeping arrangement on homestay!!
Her apartment was infested with houseflies and other insects flying around, my daughter was terrified! Houseflies kept on swarming the apartment all through our stay there which was very irritating.
The apartment was so hot we could hardly sleep in the living room that she put us.
The kids an I were so uncomfortable!!The next day, elevator in her apartment stopped working and did not work till we left!!
To make matters worse, there was power outage in her apartment for several hours the day we were checking out!!The day I was to arrive, we communicated severally and told her when I would arrive though it was in the evening.
I indicated 3 guests when I booked and specifically informed her that it's my 2 children and myself, my husband only came to drop us that night with no intention of sleeping over at her apartment. My husband booked a hotel to stay already in Montreal.
I only asked him to stay with us the last night at Veneranda's apartment because Veneranda suggested he stayed the first night we came which he refused then.
I was rather disappointed that I paid that much only to sleep on a sofa in a living room for three nights with no privacy whatsoever and in a fly infested apartment! No electricity and elevator not working!!

Electricity & elevator not working is out offself-control, just technical problems! When no electricity, elevator can't work, periode!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
