My home is in the heart of vibrant lower Lonsdale. If you stay in my home you will discover a west coast contemporary community, with sweeping views of downtown Vancouver to the south and the stunning north shore mountains to the north. You'll enjoy living in the epicentre of it all. Excellent restaurants fabulous shopping, fresh produce and delicacies from the market, museums, and art galleries and ample festivals! Step outside my front doors and enjoy local fine dining, live music, and access to the walking and biking trails that also surround my neighbourhood. Or, find tranquility and stillness above the liveliness of my neighbourhood by retreating to either one of my private patio's/balcanies.
ALL AMENITIES: Starbucks, restaurants, trendy boutiques, cafes, grocery, liquor store, pharmacy, Lonsdale Quay Market and shopping mall, The Pier, parks and the seabus to downtown all within 5-10 minutes walking distance.
Public transportation is literaly at my front door. Within 5 feet of my front steps.
We have a very friendly enviornment and offer a truly Canadian family experience. We offer access to laundry facilities, wireless internet, and more. My home is clean, comfortable, safe and relaxed. Not alot of rules...just common sense and common respect towards one another. Which makes for a truly memorable experience for everyone.

House Rules
Each guest will be given 2 keys, one for their bedroom door and also one for the front door. We ask that you set alarm system and lock doors every time you go out.
Guests are not allowed to cook themselves in my kitchen.
Please turn heat off in bedroom when you go out.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight
Please do not invite strangers into my house; if you would like to invite a friend over just let us know in advance
Please enjoy your stay and treat our home as you would your own home.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.

Lynn is always kind and helpful. I stayed about 5 months. She cooked delicious meal everyday. Also, the location was very good, the bus stop was right in front of the house. It was very convenient to go to the language school downtown every day. The room was very clean and the view from the window was great. It was my first homestay, but I felt safe and comfortable every day. Lynn is the best host and I highly recommend her.

Our hostess, Lynn, was welcoming, very friendly and extremely helpful. The homestay has a great location, only 15 minutes’ walk from the bustling Lonsdale market and ferry terminal. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. The homestay also has a roof-deck from which you can enjoy spectacular night-time views to downtown Vancouver.

Lynn is very kind and always smiling. It was a real pleasure to spent my last two days in her home, which is beautiful (and my bed sooo comfortable), and nearby downtown (around fifteen minute by seabus with a stop bus just downstair her house). I recommend everyone who are looking for a nice place to go in Lynn's house !

My stay at Lynns place was the first one on my journey to Canada. And it was the perfect place to start with! Lynn is such a warm, welcoming person. I felt at home immideately! The international "family" is great. We had nice chats in the morning, enjoying Lynns breakfast and planning our days. And in the evening a nice glas of wine while sharing our stories;) The bus stop is right outside the door and Longsdale Quay is a short walk away. I loved walking down there in the morning and take the seebus downtown and explore Vancouver. I definetely recommend staying at Lynns place.

Lynn is the perfect hostess. She is very welcoming and professional. I arrived at a late hour but she still took time to show me the necessary and made me feel so welcome and at ease in her home. Her home is in an excellent location . I cannot recommend her more highly and will most definitely stay with her again on my next trip. (I just hope she is free as she is so good she gets booked up) Thank you Lynn.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
