Our beautiful home is located in a park-like setting in a lovely community less than 5 minutes from a main thoroughfare and a 5 minute walk to transit. We are a family of 4 currently. My husband, me, our two female roommates. We have a large bedroom available downstairs with a private bathroom and sitting area. Laundry machines are in the bathroom. Shower and soaker tub also in the bathroom. Common areas include a living room with piano, dining room, kitchen, sitting room with TV.
We also have a smaller bedroom on the second level with a shared bathroom that includes a shower and soaker tub.
Outside, there is a large yard with trees and flowers, a hot tub and a very large deck to host friends and family for barbeques during the summer months. We are a ten minute walk to the Bow River pathway system.
I, Karen, hike and bike and love to get to the mountains which are less than an hour drive away. I’m also learning to speak Spanish.
I, Karen, work from home and have a flexible schedule. I love to go on outings with people and share our beautiful city and countryside with our guests.
Our guests are welcome in all our common areas at any time and will be considered family for the duration of your stay. We build life-long friendships with our guests and hope you will love staying with us.

About the Area
Our home is located in a quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. We are a ten minute walk to the Bow River, less than an hour drive from the mountains, 20 minute drive downtown. A fifteen minute walk to the local shopping district offers grocery, drugstore, liquor stores, pubs, banks, clinic and dentist, coffee shops, convenience stores, hair stylists and barber, dance studio, and more.

Cash payment on arrival. Extensions available if possible. Checking out early with 24 hours notice and refund of remaining days. No extra guests. No loud music. Because the home is shared with others, your must pick up after yourself when using a common area. Smoking outside only.

Karen and Lance are awesome hosts! They are very hospitable, moreover, they’ll treat you as a family member. The house is spacious and beautiful, the room is cozy, with a comfortable bed. The neighborhood is nice and quiet.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
