Clean, bright, cozy 2nd-floor bedroom in a townhouse. The room comes with a versatile, foldable work desk, sizable wardrobe space, and a nice long-desk for putting away your everyday items (see photos).
5-min walk to Edmonds skytrain metro station in Vancouver/Burnaby (two stops from famous supershopping center Metrotown). Nice furnitures, internet, utilities, laundry/dryer all included. Right beside a big park, refreshing and pleasant ambiance, the room is very quiet too.
5-min walk to a Korean grocery store (Kim’s Mart) where daily food items can be easily found at good prices.
8-10 mins walk to HighGate shopping complex (including Save-On-Foods big supermarket, Starbucks, Subway, MacD, Burger King, Pizzas, Fitness/Yoga, Shoppers Drug Mart, and all banks).
5-min walk to Byrne Creek hiking path, picnic ground, and tennis courts (see photos), a very popular venue for outdoor activities.
Good fit for single student or young working professional. Host/owner is an IT professional single working on AI technologies. Host speaks English/French and likes to keep the house organized and clean. Thank you and enjoy a great day as ever! :)

Layton's home is a solid place to stay with close proximity to various stores, restaurants, a park for hiking, and public transport. The house itself is maintained well, making for a comfortable accommodation. And of course, Layton is a very welcoming host who has been very helpful for me in settling down in Burnaby.

Basically, I like all things this place has to offer. As an outdoor person, I got to enjoy the creek hiking venue nearby so much. Layton is a guy of great personality and I felt very relaxed at his house. I even learned some quick French from him, haha…definitely would like to come back for future stays.

For sure, I very much enjoyed the quiet room and the location. The house is kept very clean and I had my own private toilet, making my stay even more enjoyable. Both metro station and a Korean grocery store are only 5-minute walk away, an immense convenience for me…Layton is by nature a very nice and caring host who made me feel welcomed right from the first moment. A wonderful stay… highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable time in Vancouver! !

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
