Hello,
We have been a homestay family since 2015 and have hosted students, travelers and newcomers from around the world. So far we have hosted guests from more than 15+ countries. We enjoy learning about different cultures and helping guests settle in Canada!
The house is a 2 floor house with a large kitchen with 2 fridges, dining room and comfortable living room. The house is beautifully decorated and it has lots of light and space. The rooms come with large window and private bathroom for a comfortable, luxurious and private stay. Each room comes with a queen size bed, 2 door large closet, a study desk and lots of storage space.
The place is 8 minutes direct bus ride from New West Skytrain Station. The bus comes frequently every 15 minutes.
The place is 5 minutes walk to Tim Hortons, cafes and 10 minutes walk to Walmart, Royal City Center Mall, New West Library, gym and much more! Everything you need within walking distance.
We are close to Douglas college, SFU, and JIBC, & BCIT

-Check Out at 11am* Flexible and you may leave your luggage if you want to explore the city and pick up later

Shoes
Please keep outside shoes and inside shoes separate. Shoe rack is available by the front door to leave your outside shoes.
Toilet
Please avoid flushing anything other than toilet paper (feminine product, hair, floss, leftover food or grease). The plumbing is sensitive, so using the garbage bin provided in the bathroom helps prevent any issues.
Laundry
We have a family-sized washing machine, and we ask that you do one load of laundry per week. If you're washing bedding, feel free to do two loads. Please avoid doing laundry between 10 pm - 8 am. Laundry day is once a week, and we'd appreciate it if clothes could be removed by 8 am the next day.
Cleaning Supplies
If you’d like to use the vacuum, mop, or any other cleaning supplies, they’re available for you! Just ask if you need anything specific.
Kitchen & Common Areas
We provide simple cookware, and utensils and we kindly ask that you clean up the kitchen and any common areas after use. It helps us all enjoy the space.
Electronics
Please use the power bar provided in your room, and be sure to turn off electronics and lights when you’re not in the room. This helps protect against power surges when you're away. Thank you for your cooperation!
Enjoy Your Stay
Thank you for your care and consideration. Please note any damages to the furniture or the house will have a cost to repair or replace.* So far we have been lucky.

Deposit: $400 CAD
To secure your booking, we require a deposit of $400, which also serves as a security deposit. This deposit is fully refundable at the end of your stay, provided there is no damage to the property, such as holes in the walls. The deposit will be returned to in you prior to check-out.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel, please note that the deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled within 30 days of the scheduled start date.

The host is so nice and kind. The atomospher in the house was comfortble for me. All places were clean. Her cats and dogs make relaxing place, too. And they are quiet and polite. The area in the house was great ,too. My stay was short but I spent fullness time.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
